They will have to play better defense than today, otherwise Lithuania will kill them from 3pt line. They are arguably the strongest team when it comes to 3pt shooting.

Since some international fan is bound to say it Ill just say it for them and get it over with. There is no way USA will beat Lithuania by more then 10 points.

And lets go ahead and get this out the way as well. If the USA does happen to beat Lithuania by 10 points, Lithuania still isn't on the level of Greece, Argentina, Spain.

Oh yeah, lets go ahead and get this out the way too while we're at it: USA needs to defend the perimeter better. They allowed Lithuania to shoot too many three's. They also need to stop gambling on defense so much.

I read where Spain beat Lithuania 91-66. I also heard where Lithuania rolled Argentina by almost 30, does anyone have the score or an article reviewing the game. I can't find one!!!!

lol....

Lithuania sucks... They will prob lose by at least 20-30 pts if not more. The US is on another level by themselves even when they don't play great defense like they usually do, they still win by 30 pts. This weak "competition" is nothing. The only "competition" the US will be getting is in the Gold Medal game, and that's if Greece or Spain is playing them. I don't think the Olympic games before the quarter finals against Spain and Greece will be all that hard for the US.

By cakewalk, do you mean have their asses handed to them?

Just so everyone here understands, in this team Kleiza and Songaila are pretty much role players.

first real test for team usa imo. siskauskas is arguably the best two way wing player in europe, and can this team shoot. we'll see how the US reacts to a zone defense better as well, since turkey/canada played mostly man-to-man. i wonder if the states will get as many transition baskets in this game, which i doubt they will. it'll be a half court contest which should prove very interesting.

Uh, he copy and pasted my other threads and then didn't even add in their positions and teams. Pretty sure that's half-assed cheating.

yup. siskauskas is the european version of kobe, if you will. the team's best perimeter scorer and defender. with the lavrinovic brothers and saras running point, the US should get their first real test. but lithuania isnt exactly one of the favorites to grab a medal either way, theyre darkhorses this time around. the US, spain, and greece are the favorites.

If your going to copy and paste someone else's thread. At least put in the effort to put in positions and teams...and give me credit for the set up.

Ok this is so stupid. Why don't we just use MY thread. You know...the good one with more info and colors and NBA related players in bold to help people that don't know much about lithuanian basketball. Instead of the guy that copy and pasted MY other threads. Just seems logical to me.
