Ibanez staying in Seattle

Apparently, the Mariners have pulled out of a trade with the Blue Jays that would've sent outfielder Raul Ibanez to Toronto. According to ESPN's Jayson Stark, Seattle had second thoughts about the deal, which reportedly would've been a two-for-one swap, involving only big-league players.

Looks like a three team deal according to ESPN involving the sox pirates and dodgers. Manny goes to LA, Bay to the Sox and the pirates get prospects.

Dodgers got a good deal, Manny Ramirez for 2 prospects. While the BoSox got Jason Bay for the slightly better Manny Ramirez and 2 prospects. I'm not sure how good the prospects are though.

Torre said he asked Ramirez how important his hair was to him and was told he'd do whatever the manager wanted. Torre said he asked Ramirez to "clean it up a little bit and make it manageable."

"I've got to cut it. I'm going to be looking like a baby," Ramirez said with a smile. "I don't want them to treat me different than the other guys. If they want me to cut it, I'll cut it. It will grow back."
