List of demands
1. enable PMs
2. delete the bulls board
3. ban doctor harvey

1. YES
2. if we delete their board wont they troll here even more?
3. banning is strong. why not a strategy of containment in which do charvey has one thread dedicated to him and people who want to engage with him on a variety of topics... he's seemingly and expert at everything.

The official Doctor Harvey Soapbox thread. Stickied and everything! Doctor Harvey has proven a useful punching back for refining my art of the putdown. Not that it is something I am interested in developing, but he SO deserves it!

In regards to communication on here, I do believe if a thread involving heavy caustic humor goes over the line and becomes downright ugly, it should be locked.

In regards to Vlad, can we trade him permanently to the Bull's board? You don't need to delete the board. He would just drive everyone away and cause it to become a ghost town.

Caustic humor biatch. Suck it down!

Ban all of the abusive dudes...we all know who they are, just IP ban them, ban anyone with more than 1 username...they hide behind these things to make this an unfun place.
If you have no critics you'll likely have no success.

Last i've heard, the PMing function will return to how it was before the switch of software. Its just some bugs on this new software that arent letting users PM mods and Admins and whatnot.

I dont think a timetable has been set, but the admins are aware of the problem and it will be fixed.

VinnyTheMick wrote:Not being able to PM anyone is one of the worst ideas this site has ever had. Why wouldn't the ignore option carry over onto PMs? Someone personally attacks you via pm then you report it then put them on block. I don't see whats so hard about that. We aren't children for Christ's sakes.

The worst part about it? Having the following question posed to you in your control panel:

Allow Private Messages? Yes No

If you won't allow it whatsoever then why the f_ck have it in our control panel?

We had a massive spam problem when PM were allowed to everyone...
