Hey guys we knew Ron was a good player. But when he started doing the radio show with Carmichael Dave, Ron showed what a good sense of humor he has. He really is a funny guy. Check out this link :)

All the Artest interviews: http://www.sports1140.com/pages/2222335.php

By the way, Carmichael Dave started out as a phone in fan to sports talk shows. He got to be a regular caller. Then next thing you know he is hosting his own late night sports talk show.

Only in America baby :D

He said he'll be a role player if he has to. He''ll do whatever he has to to win. This knocks out all those idiots who said it will all depend on how Artest behaves.

Yeah, this is his usual radio interview in the Carmichael Dave's show. Very funny and entertaining. Artest is genuinely a likable guy and down to earth.

Artest gets a bad rap for being a cancer, but all reports are that he really tried hard to be a good face of the franchise for the Kings. He's a genuinely nice guy, cares about his family a lot, mentors the younger Kings players (Kevin Martin and Francisco Garcia would not be the players they are today without Ron), and does a lot of good community service (such as his trip to Africa last summer).

Only problem is that he is emotionally unstable and his mouth is a leaky faucet. Scary combination.

Anyone know where I can find this? The lastest Artest podcast on the site was from before the trade was announced...

What difference does it make? The show has been over for the last 12 hours.

That's good he and Yao cleared things up, almost immediately

Yao was an idiot for saying what he said, though. He shouldn't of said that with the limited perspective he clearly had on Ron before.

Yeah

Ron's had some issues over his career, but he has ultimately grown from those, and become more grounded. Following him closely for 4-5 years now, he's definitely matured noticably. No doubt he does and will say some strange things, but nothing that has really lingered or killed a team. At least not publicly exposed, he never had any significant or several problems with any of Adelman, Musselman, or Theus. Surely common disagreements between player/coach, but that stuff is resolved soon after, anyway.

Ron's become a good guy over time
