I am genuinely thrilled for Marcus. I liked him long before he was a Net, and he was my absolute bar-none dream pick in 2003. He's in a better situation, we freed a roster spot, acquired a good pick (or two shabby ones) and got further under the lux tax. Win-win-win-win.

I always liked Marcus Williams but people said that he wouldn't fit in our offense then I would respond "Lol what offense?"
good times.

I was excited about the pick back then but still thought we should have taken Jordan Farmar because he reminded me more like Kid and the transition for him into our system would have been easier in my opinion.

I also was pissed at drafted Josh Boone but understood the pick. I've been eating my words on Josh ever since. He's probably my favorite Net that's actually played a game for us.

Eh...I don't think I'll ever be down on the pick. He was projected as a high 1st and I didn't even expect for him to fall anywhere near us. We were looking for a backup PG and he seemed the most NBA ready.

It could be worse, he could interview like Ron Artest.

or the famous interview of a certain someone which I honestly bring up probably twice a month because I am, in fact, that cool:
