http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htmChicago may have another trade buddy in Sac for Brad Miller for possibly Noc
And it seems this is to try and free up some cash to keep Ben G? or maybe its a smokescreen for a sign and trade.
Hell if Chicago wants a center, give them Chris and LO for maybe Kirk or Ben and a pf? I dunno but Chi seems to want a C.
If all they're trying to do is free up a couple mil more for Gordon, we can give them Vlade + charlotte's 2nd round pick for Nocioni.. Saves them just under 2 mil this year
According to shamsports, Vlade's 3rd year can be terminated. Is this correct?
http://www.shamsports.com/content/pages ... lakers.jspIf not, and the 3rd year is guranteed, you can best bet that we want no part of Vlade.
The ETO means the player, not the team, can terminate the contract. I can't see Vlad doing that.
One question for Laker fans, why don't you guys think Lamar won't take a pay cut next season? I'm a big fan of his game, but IMHO I don't see any other team offering him anything over a $10 million first-year salary.
There will be some teams under the cap next summer, but Boozer should be the big FA target, assuming he doesn't sign a new deal with the Jazz.
I don't see the Bulls trading Hinrich, management is a big fan of his, and I don't think we are going to resign Gordon. He wants too much money for what he brings to the table, and IMHO he'll be leaving in a sign and trade.
He seems like a perfect fit for the Lakers, he's no PG but in the Triangle he can get by- BJ Armstrong and Steve Kerr weren't PGs either, but in the Triangle you don't need a pure point, not with Kobe dominating the ball so much.
But I don't see the Lakers paying Gordon what he wants either, though he might settle for less to go to a contender.
The real guy we seemingly need to move is Nocioni, after signing Deng there isn't much room on the payroll for Noc. He would also be a great fit with you guys, if you could move Vlad of course.
