He's such an idiot, we should get rid of him and try to set the franchise on 'rebuild' instead of becoming mediocre step by step.

He's no longer a talent, he has a declining trade value, but I think at the moment it is so low we should wait till trade-deadline to turn the franchise around with trading Kidd, Terry, Damp and Howard away.
Maybe we could prevent playoffs and get a decent pick, because in 2010 we have no own pick.

Considering what issues he's dealt with this year, no doubt it was stupid. But at the same time being someone who has been around a few street races, and just trying to find some sense to it all yes 94 in a 55 sounds bad but think about how many roads you have been on where the speed was posted and it should have been a lot higher. I'm not saying it makes it right to speed but it's not like it's a drug issue, what I'm wondering is how you get arrested for that, I've seen people around here do worse than that speeding wise and it's just a big ticket. I wonder if there was anything else behind the arrest ? I have been a trade Josh guy all off season, and yes it is stupid but I dont think is that big a deal.

In Germany everyone would laugh about such peanuts, but the law for being on the road is tougher in the US and also JHo has to respect this, nontheless no one gets arrested for driving 200 km/h too fast here...Only if you cause an accident, then there could be some issues.

Don't compare driving on the autobahn to drag racing on city streets. Germans don't drag race on city streets. And even some autobabns now have a 120 KM/H speed limit which is much slower than Howard was driving (about 152 KM/H).

It really doesn't matter to me how fast he was driving, what he was doing, whether it was harmful to others, etc....I still think Josh is ultimately a good person. What matters is that it was entirely illegal, just as his admitted drug use was illegal. We can argue about whether or not these activities should be legal or not, but the ultiamte fact is that Josh continues to heap negative publicity upon himself and the Dallas Mavericks. Couple that with his horrid performance in the playoffs, which somehow has caused more negative publicity for Jason Kidd and the Mavs' FO than it has Josh himself, and you have the penultimate team cancer.

And, yes, I used the word cancer to describe Josh Howard...as much as it pains me to do so (my wife and I both being Josh Howard jersey owners and all).

I'm driving around 180-200 km/h on autobahn without being arrested and drag-racer also exsist, but they drive in the industrial areas of the town, where no police or people are at night. And you won't get arrested for it...

thats nice and all, and let me just say im a big Josh fan. But roads here in the US are no where near built for speed like they are on the Autobahn. What he did was extremelly unsafe.

All of this seems to be linked to whatever personal problems he had last year, since then he has been acting like a person without morals or common sense. Hopefully he can get back to good basketball, and most importantlly back to a sane civil person.
