lol, He doesn't want to hit the poster when Dwight dunks on him. He will just see one of the other centers get posterized by big Dwight.

"Andrew Bogut carried a slight ankle injury into the game and was used sparingly by coach Goorjian" (http://nbl.com.au/default.aspx?s=newsdisplay&id=75580).

I don't think he will play unless the ankle is 100%, its too close to the Olympics to risk it, especially in a game against the favourites.

EDIT: I forgot to say that the quote was from the Argentina game where Australia lost by 5 with Bogut playing half a game.

I couldn't watch any Australian games lately. How is David Andersen doing?

Don't get hurt, win by 25+ that's all I want. :P

Really as the last game before the Olympics I can't see either team really busting their asses.

I've read a few articles about this game from the otherwise indifferent (to basketball) Australian media this morning. Amongst all of the quotes, there's no mention of Bogut's injury or omission.

Australia would have to play near 100% to make a competitive game of this and play well above themselves to get a win. That being said alot of people are really underrating us.

Alot of people have been saying its the top group contending (USA, Spain, Greece, Lithuania, Arg) and then Australia are down with Angola and Iran, but i reckon we're pretty close to most those European teams. (Blew a big lead against Argentina, and Bogut was injured...and in the 2006 world championships we had Greece as good as beaten and they pull off two steals and two three's)

We're a very competitive team. (That could make me look stupid if USA blow us out but you know what i mean)
