I agree with this totally. Deke could have a heavy influence on Artest. A big veteran's presence is needed.

Well according to hoopshype.com the Rockets are already have the luxury tax set at 71.5 million. I hope that doesnt stop us from signing Landry or Mutombo. Maybe that "minor" trade thats suppose to happen is going to free up a little bit of room? Sending Novak to a team with a Trade exception would do almost nothing for us. Maybe Luther Head or Chuck Hayes? Hopefully we dont dump Chuck.

We need Mutumbo to back up Yao in case of Injury again besides even at 42 Mutumbo is better defensively than Yao and I would like to see Mutumbo win a Ring.
