Would the Nets fans be opposed to trading Josh Boone and Stro Swift to Houston for Shane Battier?
I know this would leave you with a lot of options at the 3 spot, but Hassell and Simmons are trade-able and could be packaged with VC if you ever decide to unload him and get a C and SG in return.

You could even try sending VC and Hassell to CHA for Jason Richardson and Nazr Mohammed, though you might have to do a lot to make them accept losing their C.
