I like both signings but thats alot of money invested into two goalies.

Yeah, you have to think Tallon is looking to move Khabi. There is no need for 2 goalies when you have Crawford.

James Wisniewski reinjured his ACL while training. The Chicago Blackhawks website says he should return during the 2008-2009 season. That does not give an accurate time frame of his return. Hopefully he heals quickly.

Comcast SportsNet will carry live coverage of the Blackhawks introduction of Brian Campbell Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m.

The Blackhawks signed the defenseman last week to an eight-year deal worth $56.8 million dollars.

Campbell scored 62 points in 83 games last season with the Buffalo Sabres and San Jose Sharks.

These press conferences are becoming quite repetitive...

Will Huet be there?

It's time to stop the press conferences already. I need hockey. I'm more excited about Blackhawks hockey than I am about Bears football and Bucks basketball. And that's hard to do.

I feel the same way about the Bulls and Bears. If I were to say this a year ago I think everyone in Chicago would have called me crazy. The Bulls and Bears were both supposed to be awesome, but they really disappointed.

Blackhawk single game tickets went on sale this morning and I can't find any good seats. Most of the games I want to see are standing room only. Wow the United Center is going to be rocking this year.

WEFFPIM wrote:Should be an interesting offseason for the Hawks. After coming off a surprise season in which they were in the playoff hunt until the final weekend, the Hawks are definitely in a win-now mode, and even moreso with pretty much everyone on the team locked up. Some interesting names on the General Board were thrown out in terms of free agent targets for the Hawks. I mentioned Cristobal Huet, Posey H8er mentioned Brian Campbell, and someone else mentioned Dan Ellis.

I'd love to get a solid goalie in here just because I'm not overly comfortable with the Khabibulin-Lalime combo, but Brian Campbell would be a great pickup.

This is old but I like the perfection with our predictions.

What can I say, we're pretty much awesome.

Now I hope they materialize otherwise I will rain hellfire upon everyone.
