You're right, that 1975 championship was sweet for Utah. I bet the rings you won in the 90's were cool too. Tell me though, what's it like to have lost 6 first round match ups in a row now that that is a current streak?

Don't worry about that streak it will when we play you guys again this year

Good to see education is not your strong point.

Here's the tip of the day...try reading your post before you submit to see if it makes any sense whatsoever.

I think Artest will help Houston, we all know T-Mac doesn't bring any toughness. I'm interested to see how Adelman works his rotation...don't T-Mac, Battier, and Artest all play the 3?

I mean at your two broken legs won't be your biggest concern anymore.

Just watch this season. The injuries will continue to cripple the Rockets, and then Ron Artest's crazy side is going to come out. It will be a sad display.

Ok so I typed to fast and made some errors....anyway T-mac plays shooting guard battier is gonna play three and Artest is probably gonna come off the bench like Ginobli for the Spurs or he's gonna start at power forward. He could do it at 6'8' 248 pounds

If either DW or Boozer miss half of the season or 60+ games between the two of them, Jazz won't even make the playoff. Say whatever you want but every team gets its share of injury bug, sooner or later. Then you will be making the same excuses.

That is so moot. Few teams get their best players through trades. Most time it is about supporting cast. What other team has acquired better players for practically nothing this offseason? I remember Jazz fans got pretty worked up for getting Krover who is a one dimentional player. I'd take Artest over Krover any day of the week.

BTW, Artest can defend Boozer better than any one Rockets have tried to put on Boozer in the past two years.

Let's be honest here. It's not like there's some "freak injury bug" that struck Houston. Their two best players are just totally lacking in durability -- especially poor Yao, who is being worn out by his hectic, non-stop schedule.

When Chris Paul missed like 20 games, that was the injury bug biting New Orleans. When McGrady and Yao combine to miss 40 or 50, that's just an expected trend running its natural course.

I like our chances w/o boozer. We MAY make the playoffs with our depth. A championship? Nope.

Deron, on the other hand, 60+, we'd be lotto for sure.

Deron doesn't need to miss 60+ to send Jazz to lotto. 25 is enough. This past season, Yao and Tmac missed 53 games together and Rockets still got the HCA. That says enough about the depths of the two teams. Now Artest and Barry just added more depth to Rockets. I say Barry adds depth because when Tmac runs the show, neither Alston nor Head could knock down open 3 consistently but that is expected from Barry.

I don't understand how Yao and T-Mac missing a lot of games speaks to the depth of both teams. We can't compare the Rockets' situation to a situation of our own because Deron has been so durable.

One should also consider the easy schedule the Rockets had during the win streak that kept them alive.

Let's keep it on basketball, my friends. Plenty to argue about there...

I can't wait to see Harpring and Artest fight for the first time next season.
