TMAC says the 2006 NBA Finals were rigged for the Heat

Just saw this interview with T-Mac, regarding the Finals.

Interviewer: Were you rooting for them or Dallas?
TMac: Shaq is like a big brother of mine. I have known him
for awhile so I was pulling for him. But I wanted to keep
the ring in the West so i was pulling for Dallas.

Interviewer: Yeah but Dallas, how can you root for Dallas?
TMac: Well I wanted to root for Dallas because thats the
same team we took 7 games into the playoffs a couple of
years ago, so I wanted to root for them just so everyone
knows how good they are.

Interviewer: Was it a little ridiculous how Dwyane Wade
got all the calls?
TMac: Yeah, yeah it really was. I'll tell you man, it
seems if you were watching that game, seemed like it was
rigged. Seriously. I know the NBA.... (cut off by
interviewer)

Interviewer: You just got fined (sarcastically)
TMac: I dont care. So what? But yeah it seemed like it
was rigged. With all the calls he was getting. Jesus. Did
you hear me? We are talking about the NBA Finals, I wish
I could say I was just kidding, and thats what it seemed
like.

Im serious alot of my friends watched the games, watched the
finals, and thats the way they say it to me. They are like,
from watching the game here, it seems like it is rigged. I
was like man, I dont know nothing about that.

I don't think a sane man can say the league didn't gift wrap a title for the Heat.

Dwade shooting 25 fts in one game and the entire Mavs teams shoots 25? I know Wade is clumsy, but should he be getting all those calls? Even MJ didn't shoot 25 fts in a finals game.

It was obviously rigged. We can all agree on that. But hey, if this proves that refs rig games, maybe McGrady can pay them some money to get him out of the first round.

Oh and you're about 2 years late as previously stated.

This is huge news when a PLAYER in the LEAGUE SAYS the league is rigged.

How were they rigged?

Wade drove to the hole the entire time and got legit calls 99% of the time. There are maybe two to three calls the entire series for Wade that were questionable. If TMAC were not so soft and went to the hole, shot mid range jumpers off the drive and jumped into players he'd get the same exact calls. The problem is most other guards and swings do not drive nearly as much as Wade nor do they have a shot selection as good as Wade's (ie. mid range, layups, dunks).

Hence, you get a lot of players that want to shoot loads of jumpers and fades then cry about not getting to the line as much as a player that drives almost exclusively.

The only people who think that those finals were fairly officiatied are Heat fans. everyone and their mother knows those finals were rigged in favor of the Heat after the first two games.

it was far more than just one or two calls. Many calls that Wade got were totally bogus

Everybody knows the Finals were rigged. Even worse was the fact that Wade could average 35PPG in the Finals without corrupt refs.

Yes, the NBA, according to fans of losing squads, bitter fans, etc has been rigged for years, right. Which is why unpopular and boring teams like the Spur's continue to win titles, the Laker's have been garbage prior to this past season and the SUNS, who most people love, never win.

The fact is most swing men do not jump into players or drive consistently. Instead they shoot fades. If you spend your time jumping away from players you will get substantially less calls then a player than jumps into players. It is not rocket science. One reason why Wade has been hurt the last two seasons is because he continually creates contact on purpose rather then running from it.

Go check the Heat forum and see if I post there at all. I am a NBA fan. I know there is no other player in the league that drives the lanes as effective or as much as Wade. Which is why Wade goes to the line a ton. He did this in the finals and Dallas stupidly was not doubling Wade which allowed him to get to the hole constantly. Kobe also dropped a ton of points on Dallas that same season, getting to the line a ton, due to Dallas' stupid defensive scheme. It is no shocker, it was not rigged. If the NBA were rigged PHX would have won a few titles, the Knick's would not be horrible, and a number of other things would be different.

all profesional sports leagues are the same way: 90% profesional 10% sports
you mix that with gambling and things start to look funny
sport is what you do with your friends
entertainment is what you watch on tv, be it the news, a tv series or any other thing
