You guys finally got a decent backup for Pennington.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The reality about favre is that he is going to make terrible deicisons and have those 2-3 int games but you always know as long as its close in the fourth, you can win the game. We'''ll have an explosive offense with this guy. Look in the dictionary and you see Gunslinger, Brett's pic is there.
BAF Suns

Chris Paul / Patrick Beverley / Shamorie Ponds
Buddy Hield / Timothy Luwawu / Stanley Johnson
Kendrick Nunn / Matisse Thybulle / Darius Miller
RJ Barrett / Kyle Kuzma / Dwayne Bacon
DeAndre Jordan / Kenrich Williams / DJ Wilson

Another thing is..., now our players are going into the season more motivated than ever. Brett's leadership quality is unmatched in this league. Until..., the game is done.., we'd always going to have a chance to pull something out and.., thats what our players are going to believe every Sunday.

This was a great trade from the Jets standpoint.

I've been on the THjr bandwagon since summer league, and I would trade him for Rondo. IMO Rondo is the third best PG in the NBA after Curry and CP3.
I doubt anything happens though.

He's going to have to work hard and learn the players and the playbook. I think the two guys who he may have the biggest impact on are Keller and Neon Leon.

If you're going "lead by example", then yeah. But Brett has demonstrated, and even said specifically in his press conference, he's not a "rah rah" guy and doesn't make any speeches. He doesn't try to make friends either, just win ballgames.

Who is this Favor guy?

I am really on the fence with this trade. I predict Street Ball for the first three games. Go DEEP!!! Once the Jets learn his plays, then we will be OK.

Can the Jets release Favre without any other penalty than surrendering that 4th rd pick?

Point being, what if the Vikings made a side deal - a 1st and 4th for Favre. Jets release him then he signs as a FA with Minny. Jets trade no-name guy they are about to cut to the Vikes for a 1st and 4th.... sneak around the poison pill and get their pick back plus the 1st. Or what if the Vikes, desperate, offered 2 1sts?
