Good things said about Sitton

Link.

I remember when he was drafted it was tough to even find information on him. But the players and staff are raving about the guy and it looks like he could wind up starting.

Yeah, I'm starting to feel pretty solid about the OL. Clifton/Barbre/Wells/Spitz/Tauscher is what I think ends up being the starting five, with Sitton (G), Colledge (G), Coston (G/C), Moll (T) as the fill-ins. That is a very solid top 9 in my opinion. Depth at tackle could use some work, hopefully Giacomini makes some strides.

I've read some pretty bad things about Coston. First of all, some guy in the organization said that it'd be best for Coston at this point to prove that he's versatile (ouch, that shows they no longer see starting potential). Then, Coston did so poorly at center (botching snaps, missing assignments) that Spitz was moved over. I don't think he makes the team. I would say Moll and Giacomini take the final two spots as opposed to Moll and Coston.

I remember that guy on Packerchatters that said Coston had All Pro written all over. I think is name is Arrigo. "insider."

Sitton was a huge unknown on draft. I remember not being able to find anything on him...

Pick Analysis: Sitton is a player that was discovered at Pro Day. There were a lot of scouts down there at Central Florida to watch Kevin Smith and he really impressed the teams. This is a good spot for him to go in the draft as his measurables had him soaring up draft boards.

I think that Central Florida's offensive line had a lot to do with the success of Kevin Smith. I think this guy could end up being a player, but I'm not sure he is going to get into the starting line in his first year. Good pick though, I didn't know what to think about it on draft day since there was very scarce information about him.
