1 year. Two years if they get really luck with injuries.

depends on the aging pattern of the big 3, progress of Rondo, Perkins, Powe and whether Giddens and Walker can live up to their once lottery status.

It's a year by year thing I think.. to many factors. They can definately do it again this year as of now.

It's hard to tell....the regular season was pretty easy.....the playoffs were tougher but once the boys got tight it was #17 so with only approx 100 games together I'd say 2 to 3 more seasons before I'd be looking in the rear view mirror. Rondo and Perk are gonna improve alot as will the chem. The Big 3 are well The Big 3......... 8-)

Rondo and Perkins are nice role players on a championship team, but they are not the keys to the Celtics future. The big 3 is the key. There was that stretch where Allen looked pretty bad and I thought he was done for, but he bounced back nicely. As long as those 3 are playing at the top of their games then Boston has to be favored. I'll give them 1 more year for sure.

I think it all depends on the role players to be honest. Garnett, Pierce and Allen will be this good for at least the next 3 or 4 years. Like I think they are going to take a huge step back since they don't have anyone to adequatly replace Posey, who was a big part of that team. They ultimately are losing 2 big contributors in Posey and Brown and I think their window depends on how well they replace them year after year. Same way with San Antonio, their role players are what caused them to take a step back, not their big three.

I think they have two more years. Depends on how badly Garnett and Allen age. Pierce will still be in his prime. Also depends on if Boston get some better role players than what they currently have.

Rondo is going to have to develop a jumpshot, and perkins might have to get some more low post moves.

3 years definetely , and 5 years they will still be a very tought team

the window for the celtics is more open, then Teams like san antonio,Dallas,Suns,Pistons etc, which are older then the celtics...

i doubt there will be a team that makes big noise that wins a championship, i can possibly see cleveland if they get a great number 2 option, but nobody else ,

besides the celtics will be even better next season,

i expect at least 2 more championships in the next 4 years from the celtics

Maybe, maybe not. It is very hard to win one championship, let alone repeat.

The last team to repeat was the Bulls, that was a decade ago. I do not consider the 2001 LA championship legit.

Ultimately, the Celtic window is dependent on the role players they acquire.

  I feel the burn. If you feel they have more than 2 years than it should be three at most. If you think they will go for longer than that. Y'all are crazy.

Lmao ! Why isn't 2001 LA Champ legit ? They swept almost everyone. One of the best teams ever.

Oops, thanks for correcting me. Mistook 2002 for 2001, don't know why.

Still, if the Spurs are any indication, repeating is hard.

It depends. A player like Bird slowed pretty quickly, while Jordan or even Rasheed Wallace have looked very good at an older age. Jordan did have a year and a half off so that may have helped. Both Powe and Big Baby have a bright future IMO, so I hope they sign both for the long-term. They adjusted well when Garnett went down, so I think they can afford to have one of them go down but two of the three being injured should hurt the team a lot. They do have over $30 million in expiring contracts in two seasons, so there's certainly a possibility that they will look at trading and get younger.
