wepainters wrote:wow, you people are underrating nuggets big time, while blazers are becoming the most overrated team in NBA. How are you gonna say they get worse with letting camby go? they gonna get back NENE, who is better defender than camby and can actually play his position, meaning staying under the basket and getting easy dunks from AI penetration. Thats how the bigs worked in philly. all camby did was take perimeter shots and block from the weakside. He always got killed 1 v 1 and NENE can actually body up Duncan and all other centers/forwards. Plus you add jr to the starting line up and denver may have the most talented line up in the L. Only if Karl knew what the hell he was doing this team would be top 5 in the L no doubt about it.

Melo needs to step his game up and show little heart. All he did last year was take 20ft jumpers instead of attacking the basket. He has to work on his D or atleast put some effort instead of letting people blow by him. He can be very good defender cuz of his size but he is too stupid to realize that.

K-Mart will still be a beast and play lock down D, run the floor for dunks and block shots. He'll just get better from his first season after knee surgeries.

AI is gonna be AI. He'll still score 25ppg with 8apg and hit some clutch shots, unlike melo who was blocked more times than he actually got the shot up last year in crunch time. Id love to see if him averaging 22 & 10 will be better for the win % but we have to wait and see what karl does with the line up.

It sux that they lost najera, the only played with heart on that team last year besides AI. Renaldo can fill up his role.

Seriously this non sense that blazers , clippers, warriors are gonna be better than denver is ridiculous. Denver will make the playoffs whether u like it or not, unless they trade AI.

1.) Denver doesn't play defense, especially as a team.
2.) Nene is the most unreliable player in the NBA.
3.) Nene isn't even good. 12/7/1 block in his best season in 6 years.
4.) AI is a chucker
5.) JR Smith is a chucker
6.) Melo is a chucker
7.) The team has no inside scoring threat.
8.) Yes, Nene does not count.
9.) They lost to the Blazers 3 times last year.
10.) They barely made the playoffs last year.
11.) Losing Camby does hurt the Nuggets.
12.) They did nothing to improve.

I can probably keep going...

1) We lost because we had limited scoring options. When T-Mac was out we had no offense. It didn't help that Alston was out for the 1st 2 games. Did you even watch the series? How won't Artest help us in that area?

2) The year before we didn't have Scola or Landry. That team lost because T-Mac and Yao had to do everything on offense and Yao was forced to guard Boozer. I guess they weren't difference makers.

Your post = Idiocy.
Thanks for playing.

Excuses bolded.

Translation: "We lost to the Jazz because the Jazz were the better team." Thanks, Obinna. Took you long enough.

Utah is a better team then Houton.

Houston will be good for about 40 games, in those 40 games they will look unbeatable.

UNfortauntely the season is 82 games + playoffs, houston will explode with big red fire before the end.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

How so? In the regular season, they haven't been. The Rockets have always had a better record. I don't think they got any worse during this off season. The only one saying that they are going to be injured are Jazz fans like they are all nostradamuses.

lets just say

lakers are going to lead the pack...

the rockets will be breathing down their neck very heavily

and the hornets and jazz are going to be on standby, anything can happen

no one else matters in my opinion, not the spurs, mavs, suns, nuggets, or blazers

Alls I knows is I can't wait for Matt Harpring vs. Ron Artest round 24450. Whenever these guys play against each other it's great. Always good wrestling matches going on and Harpring really gets in Ron's head.

Yeah, I'll pay to see that matchup. They are really both strong and have upper body strength. Both of them battling to get position against each other will be fun to watch.
