I, as wellthink the Front Orfice is waiting for closure with dragic...he either stays or plays...we go one way with the following roster filling cost cutting manuvers or another, plain and simple... our future transactions rely upon what happens with this suave slav pg, and I would doubt they do anything before that. Heck...he may NEVER play for us (see Milos Vujanic..who dillied around with the thought of joining us till he saw D'Ant nailing asses to the pine.... then he blew his knees)

But hey... it was only half a mill and a pick to our nemesis. GD...other GMs must just hush their office and hit speaker phone when we call.

about JWill...I see no reason to sign him regardless. Unless we just want Nash to be able to claim he isn't our worst defender. I am all for D and more D with whomever we ink. I'd rather see DJ get 15+ clamp down mins per game and let Fn Mr Versatile BDiaw and Super-BBall-IQ GHill run the O.

I like DJ, but if we can take a relatively safe option off the FA for something close to the vet min, I would. Your plan is basically the same one MD was playing last season and the season before, but instead of DJ, he ran with Barbosa. I have to say, Diaw isn't as good of a playmaker as people make him out to be, not saying he isn't decent, but I would take a true PG with experience over him any day. With Hill, I'd like him to only have as much game time as Nash or less.

It's all about getting to the playoffs while using our vets as little as possible, and so we can make sure our guys are fresh for the post season. If JWill can do that for Nash, I'm all for it.

J-Will just signed with the Clippers.

Man, Shaq must be angry; first Lue decided to sign with Milwaukee, now J-Will chose to go to the Clippers.

It shows that people don't want to play with Shaq as much as they used to due to his decline...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME???? Okay, I'm actually glad that happened. Teams need to just keep chipping away at our FO until they get the picture that you can't keep waiting on a 50% chance until all the 100% chances are gone. Watch us end up with Mighty Mouse.

EDIT: I just realized, why the hell are LAC taking all of our prospects? This is war...

I'd be interested to find out what the deal looked like. That could have tipped the scale.

Maybe they gave him a few more years.

Financial terms were not immediately available, but NBA front-office sources said Williams is receiving a one-year contract.

Damn. It better not be for the veteran minimum.

Damn.

ahhh come on! FO can't get anything done!

This is exactly what I was talking about, banking on an overseas prospect who may or may not come when there's a good enough prospect here ready to play. Dragic better be coming. Argh!

I guess playing with Shaq doesn't have the same effect as it did 3 years ago. :-?

If we dont get Livingston, D. West or Dragic here then i could see us only having a mediocre season. Nash cant play 30+ minutes a game and play in the playoffs. FO needs to grow a pair and attack on deals.

....But i still have faith in DJ to step his game up if we cannot find a backup PG, but it will still be tough. Sorry i forgot to add that.

So much for another of Shaq's so called friends. I told you guys before, no one is coming to PHX for what we got to offer. They might as well go to Europe and get paid 3 times as much. Now the Clipps are starting to look like a darn good team. Here's the link...

^ what the hell are you talking about? there's no other thread talking about J Will and the Clipps. The other thread is "shaq wants JWill to join him" this is a different thread, talking about JWill and the Clipps who by the way we play 4 times every season.

Good, he plays no defense and is a shot chucker. The Suns could save that roster spot for Dragic or pick up a young pg with loads of potential from the summer league-d-league.

this makes it official, the Clipps are not gonna make a run at Livingston. They have 3 PGs now, BDavis, JHart, & JWill.

Livingston cant play till Janaury or later, why do we want him now? Sign him when he can play. It's cheaper and less of a risk?

I doubt our FO made an offer to JWill. The Clipps don't have any money left to throw at him, and they already have 3 PG's under contract for next season (diminishing his playing time even more than it would have been here).

I don't think we made an offer to Skinner either. I hope Kerr knows what he is doing, cause right now, it looks like he is holding on the river. Only problem is, everyone else already has a better hand then what we are waiting on.
