Questions about going to a Laker game
I'm thinking about travelling to L.A. in november and watch a Laker game (I'm from Europe). I'm wondering how much I have to pay for, in your opinion, decent ticket and how fast the games sell out? Also, I'm wondering about the weather in november. Is there any possibility for swimming, sunbathing or will that be totally out of the question? Thanks in advance!

Re: Questions about going to a Laker game
Well, all the games ive gone to in the past 2 seasons Ive sat in the nosebleeds (you can still tell who everyone is of course), and tickets were around $40/50 bucks.
If you dont want to sit in the upper level of Staples, im guessing mid-level seats would probably go for $80-100 a ticket or something.
You can always check the actual prices at places like http://www.stubhub.com, http://www.topnotchtixx.com, http://www.realgmtix.com, and other similar sites.
If youre talking about a pool, then yeah, you can definitely go swimming/sunbathing in November. Expect it to be cold/breezy if you do head out to the beach though.

Re: Questions about going to a Laker game
I went in March and got decent upper bowl seats for $70 for a couple games off of Craig's List. I got them the day of the game but the cool thing was I bought them from a guy that was at the game. I met him really early (about 45 mins pre-tipoff) and he got me into the VIP lounge and said I could grab a seat there and just stay. Was a pretty sweet deal. There are only about 15 seats or so there by the bar, but they are basically first come first serve to people holding VIP clearance. He said since we were early he could take me in there and since I was in there before tipoff they wouldn't kick me out so I just got some drinks and enjoyed the sweet view
I'm a curse though, they lost both games! (Bobcats and Griz) although Kobe went off the second game.

Are you talking about the Royal Room?

Not sure, its on the same level as all the luxury boxes, just above the restaurant seats. Its kind of a long section on one end that is a bar and a bunch of lounge seats instead of a few luxury boxes. There are TVs overhanging as well. I have some pictures at home I can post.

I doubt it is the royal room then because you cant actually watch the game (well, you can on the tvs in there) like you were saying while sitting in there.
