I have a three-year-old son, T.J. Junior. He’s been a joy in my life. He’s very energetic. We spend a lot of time playing in the pool and on the playground. When I’m washing my car, he pulls out his toy truck and mimics everything I do.

Is there anything greater than being a dad?
No. Seeing my son grow up has been better than any of my basketball accomplishments.

more importantly he seems to be reaching out for a leadership position and has recruited a large group of players to work out at Conseco now. let's hope that this is a step toward that sense of the players owning the team that O'B has spoken off. its becoming clearer and clearer that the coaches had trouble getting last year's group to buy into their message.

I also want to commend greenway on his activity. Getting these articles up are a huge boon to the forum. I don't know if he realizes this or not, but he's actually picking up the torch that was best carried by our departed pacerfan, who would seed conversations with links to articles.

As I sit here, I remember both fondly and sadly the early morning spree as Don would scan the internet and the star for Pacer articles to try to start the conversation. In fact, he started me on my path by asking me to do the same on days that his work got too hectic for him to fulfill the duties.

Thanks, greenway, for your efforts. The other thing you could do, like Don did, is give your take on what you're putting up. While the article was a great seed, Don's viewpoint was like watering it, creating a point of debate or discussion that could make the thread grow.

We're all homers here...I proudly wear that badge. As long as we treat others as fairly and politely as we can, I think it's perfectly fine to be heavily biased towards the Pacers. It is, after all, a Pacer forum.

I want to apoligize for what i said. I guess it may have been a little under the belt, but it's something on my mind. Because i've spoken to atleast 3 former members who left because the mods acted powerful. I understand you have a responsibility and you agreed to it, and for the most part you do the job great and as some of the best mods i've seen, but the way you guys treat some of the regulars, with little to no respect sometimes, drives people off. Greenway has been a GREAT member, i'd hate to lose him over something as simple as this, and yes, i'm a mod on a hockey forum and deal with same problems, and theres 4 other guys and we have more members there, but we never ever talk down to a member because afterall, we're all family. We are all here for one reason, the Pacers. Nobody, no matter the title under the user name, nobody is bigger or higher then anyone, we're all a Pacers family on real gm. I hate when mods on this forum get frustrated with regulars who make mistakes and talk down to them. It's a HUGE pet peeve.

It todays world, the internet is so widely available that anyone can get on. Even people with little knowledge of the computer and the internet are on websites. The guy is trying to create topics, he had been doing fine recently, just forgot, and one mistake, he gets talk down to? I don't respect that at all and will speak out for it each and every time.

I respect PP as one of the best here, and he knows that, but there is a line between right and wrong. In this instance, he crossed it.

I love this forum, i love the people on this forum, but also, this forum will NEVER survive until all the newbies start sticking around and we keep getting new members. Therefore, i felt i needed to say something.

Actually to be honest I dont pay much attention. It doesnt bother me one bit. Half the time I dont even re read what i post so if they are corrected I never even know it. Typically on actual atricals i dont post the entire thing. but on interviews I do. but its cool either way. Im pretty laid back.

First off thank you considering me a great poster. Im sure some people care about some MOD things but I dont as long as I get to say and read what I want and get as much info on the pacers as possible Im good. Thanks for taking up for me though.

Take a look at T.J.'s game log for the past two seasons. He's had quite a few monster games, and I'm sure there would be even more if he was a full-time starter instead of splitting minutes with Calderon.

Also, for those wondering about his size and bigger point guards, he put up 26/18/5 on 10-16 shooting vs Andre Miller the season before last. Only one game, but DAMN! what a game it was.

A lot of people think TJ's size is a problem, but he actually plays more agressive than most of the bigger stronger PG's in the league. If he gets starter minutes, you might see a lot of those 20-10 games.

the only thing that scares me about giving him starter minutes is that he sacrifices his body so much. he already has had some serious injuries. I think he should split minutes only because of that.
