I had the same thoughts - or baylor as sg and bryant on 3 with worthy on 4.
it just doesen't feel right to me to call Pau the best PF in Lakers History after just a couple of month as a laker.

How many games do you think this team will win?

slava is good for 5, and the rest are good for a combined 3

Why's everyone putting Worthy over Baylor ? Baylor was far more greater and better player.
PG - Magic, Nixon
SG - Kobe, West, Scott / Goodrich
SF - Baylor, Worthy, Cooper
PF - Chamberlain, Mikan
C - KAJ, Shaq

Very nice 12 man roster :).

Vern Mikkelsen, Hall of Fame Power Forward, a pre-Rodman with Mikan

Happy Hairston was a solid PF in the early 70s, with stars all around him with Wilt

Bob McAdoo as 6th man PF microwave role for 4 seasons with Kareem

Robert Horry, the greatest big shot maker in the history of the league with Shaq

LA has seen some great PF play! It's just usually been in a complimentary role supporting great centers.

Could Elgin Baylor play PF? I know in his days, there was no real distinction between SF and PF.

He's listed a bit small, but the man could pull down 20 rpg and had a great inside game.

He wasn't the player he was when he peaked earlier in his career when he joined us. Far from it actually. He was on the short end of his career when he came here, so I don't think he deserves any consideration for these teams unless we're talking about players in their primes (and then Karl Malone would kill him anyway).

At least McA played more than 42 rs games as a Laker. Calling Mailman a Laker is like calling Cassell a Celtic.

Not old enough to have seen Elgin but I do know this Worthy in his prime could do it all. Numbers don't tell the whole story because Worthy was not our 1st option until later in his career, but Magic got the ball to everyone. With that said here's mine to the best of my ability
