The Australian Women's basketball team looks really good, especially Lauren Jackson. They will be the biggest threat to the United States.

I still don't get the point of the swimsuit like uni's, though it does highlight the lady parts quite nicely.

Yeah, but it will most likely be a blowout. Look at this team, they are just tearing it up. I think they really want the gold, I mean I understand how good the Australian women's basketball team is but the U.S. team is just going crazy. They have to pull back so they don't embarrass the opponent, that's how good they are.

I'm surprised how well Sylvia Fowles is playing. She has been injured for a large part of the WNBA season and here numbers there are decent. But she is stepping up big time in Beijing.

NBC should just rename itself NBP (nothing but phelps). Seriously every single broadcast they have, it feels like half of it they're talking about him. :roll:

I know he's the star and all, but it seems like it doesn't matter what medals any other US athlete wins as long as Phelps gets his 8. I mean the women fencers sweep the competition going one, two, three and they barely get a five minute interview with Bob Kostas. :-?

Phelps is about to become to greatest Olympian in history. He deserves the attention and that's all most people who aren't that interested in the Olympics want to see. (me included)

It's just amazing seeing a guy so much better than everyone else. He's against the best in the world with all the pressure on his shoulders and he was hardly ever less than a full body length ahead. It's like that with Tiger, but with swimming it's just a lot easier to see.
