you take that as an opportunity to affirm melo would be mvp of the league if not for AI's presence on the team.

and you're the sober one...

I am the sober one. You aren't.

I was responding to cavsfan_osiris' MVP comment.

My god, how many times do I need to explain that? Call me guilty of pulling the thread off topic a little, is anything.

My response had NOTHING to do with the coaches comment. I added in a post I agreed Melo needs to get in better shape.

So stop acting (Please Use More Appropriate Word).

if i truly was (Please Use More Appropriate Word) are you so petty that you would feel the need to PROVE me wrong?

its somewhat ironic that someone who spoke so strongly about homers and being oversensitive, demonstrated both characteristics in this thread.

either way it was fun fcking with ya.

cheers and enjoy the rest of the games...

I didn't think you were (Please Use More Appropriate Word), I said stop acting it. I thought perhaps you were trying to do more than troll, but hurray, I was wrong. Thanks for admitting you were just fcking around. My bad for trying to have a serious discussion. Hope you at least enjoyed yourself.

More fcking around eh? Because it is obvious I wasn't being a homer or oversensitive, but I know it is a waste of my time to point out something you'll pretend to not understand.

Take a bow for making a mess of this thread. You earned it.

what happened to my thread? Let me try to redirect. i started this thread because I thought it would be interesting to hear what people had to say about melo's conditioning. i always thought he was in decent shape. hes not ripped like some players, but thats not his body type. hes not the most aggressive player, especially defensively and not a great hustle player, but he has no problem getting up and down the court as far as i know and his game is built on his offensive versatility and explosiveness. i thought it was interesting that coangelo pointed this out because it seems like what he is really talking about is melo's approach to the olympics rather than his conditioning. why single melo out? u cant really expect someone to "get into shape" during the olympics, can u? I humbly request that refrain from the AI digressions. please no mentions of ai. i'm only talking about melo and the olympics.

SweetLou,

Melo isn't in good enough shape, what Colangelo said is right on the money. Im glad somebody called him. God knows nobody working for the Nuggets would even dare.

Guys.. Melo did it perfect. The point is to impress scouts and millionaire team owners, get on the team and be good at first and get paid. Then you're rich! you can get fat if you wanna... :P

in today's news coach k said that melo's conditioning has gotten better and that melo continues to get better...so I guess his comments were nothing more than a sideways motivational tool.

to the poster who said get rid of ai and get melo a true pg,I like to know what miller was all those yrs he was with denver.fucc what this team don't have...the players that are here(ai and melo)need to man the fucc up and play some defense period.
ai was avg 33 and 7 before he became a nugget so wasn't he a mvp hopeful as well according to your logic.I don't care if neither one of them m-fer's don't ever score another point as long as the nuggets win.
I know damn well I wasn't the only nuggets fan who was almost embarrassed to admit I was a fan of a team that scores 120pts and lose!we can all talk **** about this team but the fact of the matter is this team if focused could have won really close to the sixty games they talked about before the season.
trust me...i know what the hell i'm talking about!

How can you be embarrassed for a team that scores 120 and lose? YOU'RE NOT ON THE TEAM! WHY THE **** ARE YOU EMBARRASSED?

Here is the honest truth about Carmelo Anthony, if he wants to be included in the talks of the elite players in this league he needs to get in better shape, play defense and learn to use his skills to make the game easier for his role players.

peanut,i'm the type of fan who enjoys to talk cash **** with my boys while talking about our favorite sports teams.
denver scoring 120pts and loseing makes it awfully hard to do so.don't take me saying embarrassed out of context cause as you stated I don't play for the team nor am I on any one's payroll.it's all about friendly bragging rights.
trust me...i know what the hell i'm talking about!

Maybe Charles Barkley should get in shape. He'd be a better role model for Melo. Hey man, the time is now Melo needs to be in his best shape now to make the most of his time in the NBA. The time for good food and drink is when it's all ovah.

Then again Michael Phelps takes in 12,000 calories daily and y'all saw him in China. Chocolate chip pancakes for Melo and 100 laps in the pool.
