Thank goodness we have some depth on the line, but where does this leave us at WR?

Just read this. A bummer although not surprising about Tubbs.

WR... wow. I have no idea. Jordan Kent looked decent on that TD catch Friday. But he's still a long way away. Logan Payne sounded like he was having a very good camp until he was injured(?). Obamanu could step in possibly.

One name that comes to mind is Joe Jurevicius. He of course left as after 05, but if IIRC there wasn't any bad blood. But he clearly was one of Hass's favorite targets and could come at a lowish price.

Joe Jurevicius is not an option because he's on the Browns and he's on the PUP list with an injury.

Really can't replace Engram's safety blanket for Matt, but I feel like Kent and Obomanu will do some good things.

Bye bye Tubbs. Pork Chop should get the door next imo.
Luckily we have some people at Tackle.. hopefully Red gets back soon. Green could be a keeper, too.

I see. I knew he was a Brown, but didn't know he was on the PUP list.

Hopefully some guys grow up real fast. Would be nice to have the answer already on the roster.

That's too bad about Tubbs. It sounded like he was a good guy and had been really dedicated to getting out there and proving himself worthy of a first-round pick. I like the depth of the rotation, but Tubbs was the only one in there who could really have been a dominant player (even if it was unlikely all along). I guess I trust the team's judgment as to whether he was ever going to make it back.

I still think the team will benefit from the depth that remains -- DTs are notorious for "taking downs off" and there should be no excuse for that here, since (1) players will be kept fresh in games and (2) anyone who slacks off risks losing playing time. At least that's my optimistic preseason theory.

I think @ WR, we'll be okay, most of our production comes out of the actual offense itself then the ability of the wide receivers..noticed how Darrell Jackson didn't too well in San Fransisco..

Right, I'm thinking most guys who can run routes would be fine in the offense, but still there's Matt's happen of slinging to Engram when he's out of options by instinct. Who takes that role now? I doubt Nate is the guy... not Carlson yet....idk prolly the biggest issue, though he was bound to have to address it sooner or later. I think Bobby just got his first old guy injury.

Tubbs- He's free to rejoin us if his knee gets square. Mike was talking about him coming back at some point. I still hope that happens. It might be good timing down the road when other guys might be hurt or worn out. I'm sure he'd give us first crack(no pun intended)

Joe Horn is now available. He doesn't seem like he has much left in the tank but he could be that solid vet presence that Hass could quickly learn to trust.

Bolden would be a sexy addition with his latest trade demands, but I don't see Arizona dealing him in division and I don't see Seattle willing to part with the likely asking price.
