Jets @ Browns

Post#1 » by Manhattan Project » Tue Aug 5, 2008 4:09 am

In what will be the first time we get to see players make legit hits against the opposing team, this will be an exciting time for the most eager fans of the NFL. There is nothing like the first hit, run and sack of the season. For most this is just a few plays along the long process, for some its their career on the line. The Jets will have many things to watch for in this game.

- Chad vs Kellen
- Keller
- Revis vs Edwards
- Gholston
- Carroll

As far as watching a system goes, the Browns are a high octane offense. Will the 3-4 be able to put any pressure on them?

Don't forget about Jenkins, I wanna see how he does as a NT. As well as our O-line, I wanna see that mean streak that hopefully Faneca bought along. Lastly, the battle or the slot WR should be VERY interesting.

Yeah, I'm so pleased that we got Brett, instead of having both Clemens and Pennington, we actually have a QB that's both combined.

Yeah you had to be impressed by Clowney's ability to stretch the field. I can wait to see if Favre can elevate the play of him and Stuckey, we all know what Coles and Cotchery can do. As far as defense goes we looked good, Jenkins did a good job. Revis got beat by Edwards, but that was an amazing catch on that play. 180 one handed catches, I can live with that.

They were giving Clemens all the time in the world on passing plays, running game was decent.

^Thank God. That's nice to hear, after hearing that Shaun Rogers is dominating Thomas and Steinbach, that's a pretty tune in my ears.
