Not a big Kirilenko fan but if it came down to a trade like that the Suns would be better off keeping Diaw and Barbosa, Diaw is just as versatile as him but he can play more positions and if you run the offense through him be a force in the post, Barbosa gives the Suns 15-20 points off the bench also Barnes can do what Kirilenko does at a cheaper price tag.

No thanks. Useless to us. Since the addition of Barnes, and already having Hill, we don't need any SF's. Yeah, Kirilenko can play PF, but he'd want to start, and we aren't starting this guy over Stat. We have other needs such as backup PG and PF to fill you know..

personally i would love kirilenko here
we need a starting SF who can hit the 3 and he would do it better than hill or diaw

Pass. I like him as a player and his versatility, but we have no space for him in our rotation. His contract doesn't look too good either, it would be like resigning Marion to his current contract. To get him we would have to trade off players like Barbs and Diaw and someone else, all of whom would be much easier to trade since their contract is smaller.

Good player but way over paid
He has an actual player salary value of 9million per. and his Court Impact has dropped to 17.63 which means he really isnt making the impact on a game that he use to.
Here are some Comparable Suns players and their Court Impact - Value
Remember Kirilenko is getting S.Marion type pay

I like AK but this isn't a best situation for him. He is best when he plays the PF position in my opinion. He wouldn't get enough minutes at the PF spot on the Suns.
I think the ideal situation for him would be on the Grizzlies. He could be their defensive anchor and start for them at the PF spot. They went after Josh Smith so AK could be what they are looking for. Something like a Darko for AK swap would benefit both teams. Darko's contract will give the Jazz the financial flexibility to re-sign Boozer while making Okur expendable if they opt out next year.
