Theres some confusion. It says bucks get joe smith but then okc get smith, but it doesnt say which one in particular. its a 6 player deal.

Nice. Damon Jones rarely got off the bench and although I was happy with Joe Smith of the bench, Mo Williams is too good of a player to pass up.

I'll miss LeBron-Damon hand-shaking rituals before the games and Joe Smith played great for us especially in the playoffs but, anyway good deal, finally Ferry has pulled of something positive.

Very odd move by the bucks. After acquiring Jefferson you would think they would demand something more than a pure salary dump. Unless they figure Sessions is going to break out this year I don't understand this move. Ridnour is a poor man's unathletic MoWill.

Great move for the Cavs. I guess West can go to Europe now.

OKC simply dumps salary. Angling for 09 capspace maybe? Otherwise adding yet another big and yet another SF seems a little odd.

Cavs lineup:
Mo/Gibson
Wally/Pavs
James/Pavs
Andy/Wallace
Z/Wallace

I just checked on the trade checker and this trade doesn't work. I imagine some other pieces have to be added on to this deal. Possibly cash, i dont know , you tell me:

Failed Trade Scenario
Sorry, but this trade does not work.

Due to Cleveland, Milwaukee and Seattle being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Cleveland, Milwaukee and Seattle had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did not happen here (only Cleveland and Milwaukee met the condition). This trade does not satisfy the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

P.S. sessions had a 20 assist game last year in his rookie year....the man can straight out ball and took over the team near the end of the season. Saw mo Williams departure coming the day they brought in R jeff's salary and shot attempts per game. Awesome trade for Cavs...I don't understand why we would let delonte go though, he was solid for us.

Well he says its a 6 player deal and we only know 5 for sure. okc need to send someone with a sal ratio of around 10 and damien wlikins fits there. i can see okc sending him away. Bucks would recieve him i kinda thinks hes the 6th filler

Thanks yossixbean11.... I hope we don't give up delonte. If we can get Mo Williams for Amon Ones...(he has no D and no J) and Josh "my name and game couldn't be any blander" Smith, this will be a steal. Still ruins us cap wise, but w.e.

Wow!!!

This better be true.

The Cavs give up basically nothing and get a real offensive threat. Joe Smith is good, and he's a great guy, but he's old now...and Damon can hit 3's, but thats it.

I'm sad to see them go, as they were 2 of my favorite Cavs, but this deal is too lopsided to cry over them. The Cavs can contend in the East now...they still need that #2 guy, but if they get him now...the table is fully set. The Cavs could win the East, or finish 2nd to Boston, if this is true.

Wilkins can straight ball, he would be a steal for who ever gets him...even though they won't play him probably. That makes sense that seattle (refuse to acknowledgment OKC) would trade a SF for another SF.

You have to admit, it is a risky move for the Bucks to put all their hopes into a guy that only played in 17 games in his rookie season.

I don't like this deal that much for cleveland. Mo is owed a lot of money and i don't really see him as a 2nd option. He'll basically give them 3 point shooting and a few dimes. Things West and Gibson already gave them.

I like this deal a lot more for the bucks. They get rid of a SF who wasn't gonna play at all with RJ and Alexander there. They also got rid of Mo williams and added a pass first PG in ridnour and also free's up playing time for Sessions.

Realgm is reporting that Delonte will likely take the qualifying offer for one year....for once the cavs will have depth at guard. Mo/boobie/ West....and with the strong summer league play of Hickson Josh Smith became expendable. If Hickson is as good as we was in summer league we still maintain or imporove that 4 man bigs rotation Z/Wallace/AV/Hickson....Lookin good cavs lookin real good.

But back to Mo Willaims, he is more of a SG which is why he is the perfect fit at PG for us...because as every true NBA fan knows...LeBron is really playing the point on this team, now he has another player who can knock down shots while still being able to handle the ball at a high level

Delonte West is screwed. He's probably going to europe now.
