No way we are scoring against Nathan.

3-7 on the road trip... pathetic...

that 3-7 record decided our season. Had we been 7-3, different story.. but it is time to call this a wrap..

We need to sweep the Royals to have any chance of saving this season. Period.

2-1 doesn't do it. 1-2 certainly doesn't do it.

We go on a road trip right after we play the Royals at Yankee Stadium too.

I think it is too late. First thing first. We need both boston and the rays to lose tonight to stay 5 back in the wild card and 8 back from first. I we can get that to happen, then we can talk....

I am following on line at work, what stupid thing did cano do now? this guy is killing us this year..

Morneau grounded slowly to ARod, he threw to second and Cano stepped off the base before the ball arrived. Incredibly lazy and careless play. Then on Melky's dropped ball he made no effort to get out of the way, but when Melky called him off he was just doing a stupid, arrogant face and stood there... wow, he was a complete disgrace today playing for a team fighting for a playoff spot...

Im usually optimistic about their playoff chances every year, but this finally might be the year where they don't make the playoffs...even with all the injuries, they still had plenty of chances to win games they should've won, but didn't.

It still drives me nuts that this team can't hit worth a damn...the yankees are kinda like the knicks of baseball, sad to say.

I know, right? It's like the Yankees can just never win anything. I can't even remember the last time we made the playoffs.

Har Har?

I was comparing the yankees of this season to the knicks the past couple of years...highest payroll, no playoffs.

I know what you meant and I was just joking, but it's crazy to say something like that. The Yankees have done so well over such a long period of time, with far and away a MUCH higher salary and no luxury cap so they can spend to improve as much as they need to with no real penalty, and that money has purchased competitiveness. The Yankees are still within reach of a playoff spot down the stretch, as unlikely as it is for us to make it considering the competition, while the Knicks - well, let's not waste time beating that dead horse beyond the obvious that money doesn't work the same way in basketball. The Yankees are the best team money can buy, the Knicks are the worst.
