I'm not disagreeing about him having a tough start to the season tho... You just have to realize, us blazer fans breathed a collective sigh of relief hearing it was minor. after what we went throgh last summer, we relived it all over again when we heard MRI arthroscopic and surgery in the same sentence as one of our core players... Taking out cartilage is still going to be painful to cut, accelerate, stop and make any sudden movements, at least until the knee has strengthened from the scoping, that's all I'm saying. Obviously it won't be as bad as if he had torn a ligament, but that would also put him out for the year. He'll be fine before long, but I was just trying to give some examples of what this type of surgery can do to a player of his caliber when coming back.

show me where roys game relies as heavily on athleticism as j rich or kobe and ill shut up

he actually one of the quickest players in the league, he just has very deceptive quickness, and he has the most underrated crossover in the league.

but you are right on the money when you say he gets to the rack at his own pace, he plays the entire game at his own pace because he is extremely intelligent and has a great feel for the game so he knows how to control the game. but his deceptive quickness and his crossover are a big part of his game because defenders have to respect his ability to blow by you if he catches you being lazy, which opens up room to see the floor better and for more open jumpers.

He should just sit out the rest of the season and let them tank for a draft pick 8-)
