ben gordon doesn't fit the lakers at all. hindrich + noicioni for odom does if chicago is willing to put up more cash for gordon as long as they lower their salary and Buss is willing to take on more money
Sasha Vujacic = The Phail Machine = The Ring Blocker

Trade Sasha before he ruins the Lakers next season.

Not a fan of Gordon's at all. Undersized 2 with no PG skills who doesn't do much else but shoot.

Pass.

I like his game, he can score, shoot threes, can drive to the basket. I think he can be a good tri pg if we have a point forward to fair with him

He wants a huge contract AND he's a base year player. Meaning we'd have to take on a bunch of salary along with his to get him. Put simply, there is absolutely NO chance of this happening.

All he provides is offense...Lakers have enough of that.

Gooden and Gordon for Odom and 2012 1st rounder

Lakers:
SF:Bryant/Ariza/Walton
PF:Gasol/Powell/Radmanovic
C:Bynum/Gooden/Mihm
SG:Vujacic/Gordon/Karl or Crawford or Mitchell
PG:Fisher/Farmar/Yue

Pros and Cons:

Pros:
-Kobe can move to Small Forward.
-Vujacic comes into the starting line up giving us the spacing we need with Bynum and Gasol up front.
-Gooden can be Bynum or Gasol's back-up
-signing Powell makes it a lot easer to trade Odom.
-the second unit could really be a run and gun unit.
-were even deeper
Cons:
-Gordon's contract is going to send us into tax hell x10
-Gordon splitting his minutes with Vujacic

Gooden's contract expires after this season. He never seems to impact a game. Gordon will be dealt somewhere. :D :)

Kobe shouldn't be playing sf at all. The players that do the best on him happen to be sf's if you haven't noticed. Lets see there is Prince, Pierce, Battier, Bowen (although Kobe kind of plays good against Bowen) but the sf spot is not where he should be. Maybe if he were 6'7 like listed it would be different.

Kobe does produce at a higher statistical level when he plays SF tho, and those guys are on him regardless if he plays SF or SG full time.
