Memphis... Haven't heard much reported on them, but on a second look they seem to have a GREAT young core. They may not be great this year, as they are most likely not going to make the playoffs, but wait until they begin to mesh and mature together and I think they will become a force to come in the future.

I mean, Conley/Mayo/Gay and Marc Gasol coming over? Those are some solid young studs.

+1

I look forward to having future playoff battles with them.

This has to be the cavs.

3 years ago we were supposed to lose to the wiz. Then we were supposed to get killed by the pistons but took them to 7 games.

Next year everyone said the bull would be better than us. We were expected to lose to both the nets and pistons in the playoffs.

This year in the playoffs we were supposed to lose to the wizards, and get killed by boston.

Next year apparatnly Toronto and Washington are better than us.

Go figure.

not sure how the magic can be always overlooked if they've done exactly what people expected the last couple of yrs.

I dont understand people naming major playoff teams....
I'd go Bucks.....
I dont know if people know about Ramon Sessoins, but he is going to be a good point guard as long as he can limit his turn-overs, coupled with the addition of RJ, i think they make the playoffs and not as the 8th seed either

BTW... Who TF puts Mavericks and Suns when they have been both the most overrated teams on the NBA along with the Cavaliers, Heat, and Nuggets. That is insane for them to be in a list. I guess another Other is due here.

These days the Suns and Mavs are underated, some people even say they might not make the playoffs. With two future hall of famers Shaq and Kidd and players like Amare-Nash and Dirk-Howard and people say one of them or both might miss the playoffs that is underating them.

The Pacers. They could be a 50-win team in the East. They're surprisingly very deep in every position. They don't have a definitive superstar but they make up for it by their depth. Plus, they have very nice rookies coming in.

I said the Pacers could be a 6th seed, but 50 wins? Come on now. In the east, it's definately us. We're picked to finish below the freaking Cavaliers for god sakes! Even with the addition of Mo Williams that is laughable.

Mavericks were 2 games away of being out the playoffs this year. They got humiliated in the first round for the second year in a row. Their window is over, and their chemistry is non-existent. People are not being mean or ignorant about the Mavericks, in the contrary, they are being realistic. Perhaps you should too.

people mostly ranked us out of the playoffs last year, just look at the prediction threads, now this year at least we're in but still getting outranked by philly, cleveland and sometimes raptors.

but um this year I actually think nets will be better than people are ranking them (basically last)

Jazz always seem to get overlooked before the playoffs...
