He says we got better without Yao...well to a person looking from the outside...no a person that follows the team like we do...you can see how he would come to that conclusion. We did sport a better record than the previous year. What he is trying to say is that even without Yao for a third of the season we still won 55 games. How good can a guy be if his team can win 55 games in a tough conference without him?
Thats his point...and its a valid point. And he is a sport writer who doesn't follow this team so he can take one valid point and stick to it even though we know there are other reasons why we continued to win without Yao.
As far as Battier...thats just plain ridiculous. The guy isn't making more than 8 million a year. He is a lock down defender (though I wonder why he never guarded Deron Williams in either playoff series) and he is a terrific 3 point shooter. We don't win without that guy on the floor.

If you had to choose one guy from the roster to put on the list, it would BE T-mac, before anyone. He's fallen off so far from where he was at even 2-3 years ago, let alone 5-6, it's not even funny. The problem is he's fallen off so quick, that most people have yet to realize how far.blims10 wrote:Iggyemu wrote:I can somewhat see his point about Yao. Hmm, seems like you always so considerate when others criticize Yao. Actually I'm curious to see how you'll react if T-Mac is in the list![]()
