philly will definitely be there, but not in 2009. also really depends if lebron gets some help from his supporting cast, if they can get a big man, they're set in the east. however, my vote goes to the celtics

CLE guys IMO LBJ is going to get MVP he just got his PG the other day and they are shopping for a BIG as we speak, NYK repectively. I am going to be watching every fn' leprecahn game that's for damn sure DOWN WITH THE CELTICS. First round upset would be devine.

I want Boston again. We need to clean up this 2-9 record against them. I believe it's 2-9 not 100% sure but that's the way it started in the 80's we lost to them in the 1st meeting of the Finals then we owned them after that. So let's do it again

I dunno, I'd like to see the celts, but I'm a little skeptical that they can replicate that perfect effort of last year. Another year on Ray Ray and Chubby won't be kind and they don't have all the veteran intangibles anymore that got them through. I think it hinges a lot on Perk and Rondo improving. They showed a lot of potential and poise. If Rondo gets a shot he could be really dangerous.

Lebron has a little more help now and a full year with the new mates. If Pavlovich stays healthy and gets a little form back they could be really dangerous. They are big and defend as well as anyone. Big Z though is becoming a Big ? to me. How long can he hold up? Lebron is playing D now and he's coming into his prime. Mo as a scoring PG should be a big help. I think they will get it done this time around. They have the tools to match up with Det, Boston, and Philly. I kind of think they will come out of it.

BUT...

Don't count out Toronto or Orlando. I have a hunch one of those two will surprise everyone.

For those who say Boston sucks ... if they suck and they beat the Lakers easily, what does that make the Lakers?

It's going to be between, Celtics and Pistons again. 76ers are a threat, as are the Cavs, but they won't beat a better Boston team 4 times.

Out West, it'll be the Rockets, Spurs, Hornets and maybe the Lakers.

"yeah brand will definately put the sixers over the celtics. no doubt" i mean come on lets be serious. yeah we lost posey. so what. we have added young rising talent to our roster as well. we all know danny ainge can make a move for a much needed player in second. we'll see you guys in the finals rematch series, that is if u even make it past the rest of the great western teams.

I'll say Boston right now. Lakers would win in 6 with a healthy team and the loss of a couple players from Boston (Posey).

Watch out for the Raptors, though. If JO can put it together, they're going to be scary. They'd definitely have the inside presence, they have a rising PG in Calderon, and they have shooting and depth all around with Kapono, Anthony Parker, Jamario Moon, Joey Graham.

Toronto's backcourt is a leaking bucket in terms of defense. I'd surely put Cleveland and Philadelphia ahead of them.

I'm not ready to buy Philly either. They will be just like Utah except with absolutely no outside shot (rather than Deron and now Korver). Come playoff time they'll struggle against Boston and the zone as they have absolutely no shooters to break it.

the sixers will have terrible shooting, absolutely no post presence either. brand is an even more perimeter oriented pf than KG. sixers fans seem to think they're getting a player that is going to be scoring in the paint at will.

IMO its going to be either the Celtics or Cavs, I don't see any other team making it over them in the finals. If the Lakers make it, I want a chance at redemption and a rematch with the Celtics, this time winning the series preferably.

Philly and Toronto will be good, but I just think they couldn't/wouldn't beat either the Cavs or Celtics in a 7game series. Orlando too doesn't have enough, no matter how much of a monster Dwight is. Detroit IMO is at the end of its journey as a contender, I just think they are done with this current group.
