Exactly. Like when people on these blogs don't have enough command of the English language or creativity that they need to put their (sarcasms) in parentheses or mimic dumb commercials for entertainment effect...

Paul will definitely be more entertaining then those retards. Please don't ignore me mr. hypocritical poster.

cleared the air & gave insight on a few things....

-- Said the incident in Vegas was a random stop, he hadn't done any drinking, and the cops told him they had to cuff him because he was a large man.

-- Said he'd been working out in Vegas most of the summer.

-- Wyc was on and said he was going over 6 different designs for the rings, he tapped one against the phone so they could hear it, said it was "the size of a golfball", a 1/4 pound of gold and emerald lol

-- Wyc & Ray said they took money out of the other's pocket in golf yesterday.

-- Pierce said winning the championship was more relief than joy.

etc.

I caught a little bit.

Pierce mentioned that they stayed at the Garden until around 3 am after winning the title. After that, Pierce invited the team back to the house for champagne and food. At around 4:30 Pierce had to leave his house to get his daughter to the hospital with a fever.

He also said he was so exhausted during the parade, that when he smoked the cigar he puked when they got back to the garden.

Pierce also said he thought the police incident was humorous because he's never had any sobriety tests done on him before. He said he's smart and would never drink and drive. lol He also said he was only hand cuffed due to his size. It was funny though because in the beginning he joked saying that some Laker fan cop pulled him over for DWC....driving w/championship.

DWC lol. I only taped it, but only watched the open so far. Seems funny, I like how the set is decked out in celtics gear.

I like how he said his team are the patriots!!

OT: Paul Pierce co-hosted Mike and Mike 8/15

Post#13 » by eitanr » Fri Aug 15, 2008 5:01 pm

I wake up today at 6am to find Paul Pierce co-hosting Mike and Mike in the morning replacing Mike Golic.

Notable Highlights:

-Every time they went to break, Mike Greenberg would say something and then point to Pierce to say "ESPN Radio". Pierce got the hang of it initially, but then later on messed up on about 2-3 times in a row. Once you saw Greenberg (ESPN2) point to Pierce to say ESPN Radio and he forgot and didn't know why Greenberg was pointing so much. The next time Greenberg just did it after Pierce didn't get the hint. Finally the 3rd time Pierce's mic was messed up.

-They did Tampa Bay as part of their 2- a days and Pierce picked the Bucs to go 10-6 while Greenberg has them at 8-8.

-Pierce mentioned that he threw a huge party after the finals with all of the players and close fam there. He had like 2-3 straight days of no sleep.

-He mentonied that everyone on the team was invited all the way down to Scal and Pruitt. Funny how he placed Scal at the bottom there.

-Asked about going to Europe he initally said "I don't care too much about the money as long as I am happy...and I am happy here winning the Championship", but then asked if he'd go he then said "well, you never know"

-He mocked Greenberg for liking the Jets.

-When Gammons was on he and Pierce talked about his Brother who apparently was a 1st rd pick in the 1990 MLB Draft with the likes of Tom Goodwin. PP asked Gammons about the Sox...says he loves them.

-They made a lot of fun of his "injury" in game 1 and played Phil's clips on the subject.

That's really about all I saw. The off-season is pretty slow, so just thought people would like to know of this.

Why would you flame the board and then cry about it when somebody slaps you back?

It is almost like cracking someone's ability to "speak," then displaying no regard for sentence structure, capitalization, or punctuation.

Oh, come on. There was plenty of regard to all of the above. If you re-read both posts, you will pick up the great regard to structure, capitaization and punctuation I displayed in mocking the OP.

And reseda-

I would call what I was doing satire. Although, you would probably call it sarcasm, which is satire without the entertainment value! And I do agree that the entertainment value on this board has been weaker this summer, but I must admit I laughed out loud at being called a 'weenie'! Good job.
