Re: SUNS/ATL & SUNS/PHI
Suns/Atl
I've followed Law4 since he's been in the league, and I think he's going to be a solid starter for any team when he develops. Speedy is a decent PG who puts up nice stats for a PG, he is however very undersized. With the signing of Dragic, we have no need for another two PG's. Also with the direction Kerr is taking us in (defense), I don't think we are going to trade away our best defensive prospect. I forgot to mention Claxton is injury prone, and that's a massive understatement.
Suns/Phi
I would do this trade. But Philly won't. Young put up some very good numbers int e 2nd half of last season and Philly is going to keep developing him. I don't see them parting with Young. As for Green, I don't think we want him. . . Speights is an interesting prospect, however even though his spot is filled by Brand, I think Philly would want to keep him as a backup. Only reason Philly would do this trade is because they are desperate for 3-pt shooters.

Re: SUNS/ATL & SUNS/PHI
should we work out on a sign and trade for ben gordon??
boris diaw for ben gordon???
ben could be the our starting sg, and when bell retires he could earn his spot.
we could play with ghill & matt barnes on our sf rotation and ben could also see some minutes
at the sf spot. mh, looks very solid to me.
nash - dragic - strawberry
gordon - bell - strawberry
barnes - ghill - atucker
amare - lopez - amundson
shaq - lopez - amare

No way Ben is a starter for us if we ever acquire him. I see more of a Diaw + Barbosa for Gooden + Ben deal happening than a straight Diaw for Ben. If we get Ben, we don't need Barbs. I would keep Barbs over Ben any day though..

Makes our back court too small and with Bell on the bench, we have no one playing defense in starting back court.

That sounds ok. Gooden is a good player and can start for a lot of teams. However I prefer to have barbs than Ben. They are both streaky shooters and neither can play great defense either. But Barbs will be on a better contract than what teams would give Ben. Wasn't he asking for something close to Deng's contract?

I'd do a Diaw + Tucker straight up for Gooden + filler. I'd rather have toughness the whole regular season and in the playoffs over someone who gives us 8 good games a season.

I would love Gooden here over Diaw, but so would the Bulls.

yeh. the deal depends on wether the bulls have a need for tucker. i dont know if they do but i suppose the deal is a stretch for the bulls.

Re: SUNS/ATL & SUNS/PHI
I don't think they have any need for tucker. Dunno if they even need Diaw, even though he's a quality player.
