I think I'll call them the "Death in the family" team because all they do is make everyone else CRY.

LeTravel strikes again I can't believe that LeBron caught the ball from the 3-pt line and didn't even take a dribble he just ran straight to the basket for a lay-up...LMAO

Let's see this clip you speak of.

Pretty much.

Wasn't this supposed to be when the US stars failed because FIBA refs were going to call travelling while NBA ones won't? So why are we blaming the players for this? Also, go watch the video again. How many of these are clear travels in regular game speed? First one maybe, but whether or not he travels has no effect on the game at that point. He's getting an inbounds pass after a basket... Second one, he's moving so fast it's impossible to tell. Third one, yeah, but it's a breakaway dunk so it really has no effect.

 lol..c'mon y'all gotta admit that was pretty funny..Kobe's 3 steps + bounce + 3 steps + 360 had me rolling.

That is more of an indictment on the refs than it is on the players. How the hell do you let that pass?

Yes, much like every other olympic team they traveled to China.

Except for China’s team I guess.

How about this -- start whistling the Euros for all the ridiculous moving screens they set and we'll call it even.

If anyone has ever actually played basketball at a fast pace, then you know that the crap in that video isn't traveling. The step that you take when you catch the ball is never counted. I've never been called out on it, and I've never seen it whistled in the NBA. So when it shows Kobe and Bron taking 3 steps, that's counting the step that they took while catching the ball. Therefore, they're only taking 2 steps after they catch the ball. Referees only count the steps they take after they have caught the ball, not while catching the ball.

Could be, I guess these Euro fans just aren't used to seeing very athletic people move.

The only coment to this is that these are euro refs calling it by euro rules what has that got to do with us. If the refs started calling traveling more striclty then I am sure the players would adjust. But this is simply euro haterade.

Yah. It's likes saying people who jump and catch the ball and land back down are traveling. It's in mid movement, it shouldn't count.

Also, there isn't a rule on how many steps you take in a dribble is there? As long as you don't palm or put your hand under the ball it shouldn't matter as long as the ball bounces under your hand no?

Correct, steps taken before full control of the ball is established don't count, therefore those aren't traveling. There's always going to be missed calls, but this is just upset fans making something out of nothing.

The first travel by Lebron reminded me of this.

yo soyo el LMAOisimo! Spainards complaining about no-calls they're just angry their team got whooped. Even if Team USA gets away with a LeTravel here and there Spain is notorious for their flopping, I've seen Spanish players flop even when they're on the bench, it's that bad.

To top things of the international players at these Olympics palm the ball seemingly every other play (*cough* *cough* Ricky *cough* Rubio).
