Re: Established players who will have breakout seasons
Even though he's already had his own breakout season ages ago, I think Andre Miller should have a much better season this year than he has in the last few, if all goes according to plan with AI2 and Brand, Miller should have a lot of work to do, and in order for Phila to fully succeed, this will have to happen...I like the idea of Pietrus making waves, but i'm not sold on the idea just yet...

Andre Miller is going to look a lot better than he ever has before. He's got a lot more talent around him. John Salmons is a good vote, too. I think Tayshaun Prince is going to have his best season.

Joseph Calderon
Being the sole legit point guard on the team will allow him to log consistent minutes and majorly improve statistically. Plus his stats were deflated last year.
(Jose Calderon- TJ = Joseph Calderon)

Re: Established players who will have breakout seasons
GASOL/BYNUM- i agree with the above. bynum wont help pau as much as shaq helped amare cuz shaq is so much bigger, but with bynum being the main low post presence, gasol is gona open up more, and hes very good at beating the opponent off the dribble. expect gasol's numbers to increase a bit, or atleast get steadier. as for bynum, vice versa. gasol will demand defense at 15 feet, which opens up bynum even more, and if he keeps up what he ended at, this 1-2 punch alongside kobe and lamar can get furious.
VINCE CARTER- hes the only one of the big 3 left. he said hes delighted to remain in new jersey, and although they wont be a playoff team, expect vince's numbers to reach 23-25ppg, since he will be the sole go to guy. and hes recieved criticism about quitting on a team, so dont expect him to repeat his mistakes. hes a legit allstar, and next year, he might return to his old raptor days.
BARON DAVIS- although he and kobe are good friends, davis might play with a chip on his shoulder. i dont think a player of his skill would want to remain under another great players shadow...expect him to take his game to a newer level, and expect the clippers to make a run at the 7-8th seed.
JOSH CHILDRESS- will likely own his competition in europe.
RON ARTEST- he got his wish. he got traded. he said hes willing to do ANYTHING. lets just say because of artest, tmac is gona get past the 1st round this year.
THE NOT SO ESTABLISHED- expect greg oden, but more so micheal beasley to make a huge impact on their respective teams...the blazers and heat both of good chances of sneaking into the playoffs this year.

I think Caron Butler takes it up another step and makes Arenas option #2. I'll say Devin Harris makes a case too...

T.J. Ford.
12 & 6 in 23 minutes last year.
14 & 8 in 29 minutes the year before last.
This year, he'll play 35 minutes and put up 17 & 10 while making the Eastern Conference All-Star team.

What about Hibbert? He's so good that he's established already.

Jerk... You don't understand he'll finish his career as Top 5 center of all time. You underrate him.
