Enough. If we were traveling, they would call it that simple. We're not as dishonorable as to manipulate the game state in anyway. At least as an American, I hope we have maintained that dignity and honor.

Now, look at the US Woman's team. They're arguably playing at a different level then the men, averaging a 40 PPG difference. The fact is, international basketball teams will never ever compete with America. This is the best U.S. Mens team assembled since 1996. No, I'm not comparing them to the Dream Team. But one must admit that they are as close as we're going to get. Our Perimeter pressure makes it so that your guards are gonna have to be on their A-Game, all the time. And in the last two games, you saw what happens once this team adjusts to the small ass FIBA Court. That "3 pt shot". is easy as hell to knock down. And if this U.S. Men's team had a good coach. We would be blowing your asses off by 40+

Coach K is the most over rated coach in the history of the game. Nate McMillian would be perfect for the team. As he's shown in Portland, he won't take no egos and he has a playbook that we can actually implement in the half court.

Yup, the US couldn't win if they didn't travel. I'm sure if you took away those 6 point Spain would have won.

According to FIBA rules, that's traveling.

Translation: We didn't think Team USA would be this good. We knew they were talented, and very athletic. We were not expecting them to play this angry and fired up, and to be that motivated. When they play that way they are the best team on the planet and nobody can come close to beating them. It hurts us so much to admit this, that we have to come up with alternative reasons as to why team usa will win gold. For the time being, we are going to just totally ignore that FIBA refs are calling the games and that team USA is not responsible for ANY missed calls whatsoever. They dope, they travel, and that's the reason why they beat Spain, Greece, and soon to be Australia and whatever other teams are stupid enough to win their knockout games and play them. It's really not fair, we thought we had come along way since 1992 but it seems that we still have some work to do. We apologize, our egos won't allow us to admit this, instead we have to make stupid youtube videos and post in doping threads.

Sincerely,

Europe :(

First it was "US Players won't play good in FIBA because of the "superstar" treatment by the NBA refs". Now its "Well, the FIBA refs aren't calling traveling violations, its blatantly obvious that they are trying to give the Gold medal to US!"

Given that our team started in out in foul trouble the past couple of games they had against the best teams they've played (Greece/Spain), I don't think anyone should be pointing out all these travel calls.

The USA basically have the Shaq rule against them. These refs have not seen players like these on a regular basis. Heck, Lebron got HACKED in the middle of a fast break, the player who HACKED him admitted to hacking him to stop the fastbreak, Lebron rolled through the foul as if it was a fly on him, finished the play and scored with no whistle ever being blown.

Besides, Euro guys are worse when it comes to travelling anyway. Not necessarily in steps they take, but because of footwork. They move their pivot foot a lot more often before taking their first dribble.

And finally to my last point....

I only watched the first clip and I don't think that's a travel. What they called the first step was a step taken while receiving the ball - I don't think that should be called. And it happens so fast in real time it would be almost impossible to anyway.

I don't get what all the complaining about the calls is. Do they really think the refs are trying to get the USA the gold medal? Nobody wants to see them win except the USA and apparently Chinese fans. It's not like other teams haven't gotten away with some traveling in this tournament either.
