The broadcasting just sound so weird to hear.. "maybe one day this young guy shawn marion will be an all-star some day in the future"
And damn, facial served up on Olowokandi by Brand. Never realized how skinny the Kandi man was, looks half asleep.

Re: 2000 Rookie/Soph game
Yeah, I guess Kandi lost his energy after the earlyish part of the game, and then LaFrentz played in the 2nd half of the 2nd half after Kandi was taken out. Just looked disinterested
Couple other notes... the crowd booed Andre Miller whenever he had the ball because he wasn't dunking on his close shots... I don't think they realized Andre Miller can't dunk, and isn't a leaper at all. If he really tried, maybe he could of, but it wouldn't be anything but a simple finish. Took and hit a number of threes, though, 3 in a row at one point. Doing that out of spite.
Mike Bibby finishing an alley-oop from Mobley was one of the more bizarre things I've seen... I didn't know Mike used to be able to get up like that to any extent.
Elton Brand was simply a complete beast in that game... had 21 rebounds as part of that.

Yeah, I remember this game. This is when Bibby made that dunk from that alley-oop...I think it was Francis or Mobley who passed it to him. Bibby was athletic back then.
Edit: It was Mobley that made that pass to Bibby.

Back when Steve Francis used to be relevant...
That elbow pass from Jason Williams was crazy... Lafrentz couldn't finish though...

It's always fun to watch an old Olowocrappy game. Always good for a good laugh...
But yeah that elbow pass by J-Dub is one of the sickest passes of all time. I wasn't even sure what he did until the replay in slow mo. Bring some of that mojo to the Clippers...

The fantastic 1999 draft class vs the horrific 2000 class? I'm guessing '99 won in a blow out, and don't really care enough to Google it.

Nahh it was the 98 draft class(minus VC) vs the 99 draft class, thats why its the 2000 game not 2001.
