Post#1 » by joe.linnen » Thu Aug 21, 2008 12:22 pm

I was just thinking that he could serve as a pretty good back up for AB17, well at least beter than Chris Mihm.

SF:Odom/Ariza/Walton
PF:Gasol/Powell/Radmanovic
C:Bynum/Maglore/Mihm
SG:Bryant/Vujacic
PG:Fisher/Farmar

D-Leauge

I would bring him in for a workout and see what he has left in the tank. Heat want to check him out, never can have to many bigs.

I think the Lakers are done. Kupchak already said they may carry 13 contracts if everyone is back (ie Bynum and Mihm) to full health and they have 12 contracts already plus Sun Yue under some sort of deal and a Coby Karl option. I think Powell was the final move - unless there is a trade.

I agree with the posters who think this 12 (13 or 14) is the team they are going with this year:
Kobe, Gasol, LO, Bynum, Fisher, Farmar, Ariza, Sasha, Vlad, Luke, Powell, Mihm (Sun, Karl)

letting LO walk next year for nothing - a tax based decision.

Id rather wait for Zo. or resign DJ. At least DJ will show hustle on the court compared to Jamal. He hasnt played a consistent game in a long time. No need to try him out.

I keep seeing these posts for aimless guys. We have a full squad. Unless we make a trade this is our squad get used to it. What about Swen Nater? Blahhh!
