Joining the Suns’ broadcast team as a television color analyst and returning to Phoenix is former Suns center Scott Williams, who spent last season at FSN Wisconsin, filling an array of roles on Milwaukee Bucks’ broadcasts, including pre- and postgame host, sideline reporter and color analyst. A three-time NBA Champion with the Chicago Bulls (1990-91 – 1992-93), Williams began his broadcasting career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and FSN Ohio after retiring from the NBA in 2004-05. The former 6-10 center spent two campaigns with Cavs as a color analyst, broadcasting more than 40 regular and postseason games each season. A veteran of 15 seasons as an NBA player, Williams played for seven teams, including the Suns from 2002-04. The 40-year-old Williams and wife Lisa have two children, Benjamin and Ava.

Suns name new TV analyst
With Dan Majerle sliding over from his broadcasting post to a Suns coach's seat, the Suns named former Phoenix center Scott Williams as the television game analyst who will replace him.

As Majerle did, Williams will share the TV color analyst duties with Eddie Johnson. Williams, 40, worked for FSN Wisconsin last season as a pre- and postgame host, sideline reporter and color analyst. Williams was a member of three NBA championship teams in Chicago (1991, 1992 and 1993) and played for the Suns during a 15-year career.

Al McCoy returns for a 39th season as the radio "Voice of the Suns" with Tim Kempton handling color. Tom Leander (My45) and Gary Bender (FSN Arizona) will continue calling play-by-play on the TV side with Tom Chambers returning as a pregame and halftime analyst and Kevin Ray returning as the My45 pregame and halftime host (Leander hosts FSN Arizona pregame shows).

He'll be a great replacement for Majerle. I've heard he do a lot of interviews with Gambo and Ash. I he did one of those broadcaster swaps when the suns played the bucks and he seemed good then.

You'll like him. He's talkative, that's for sure, but he's alright.
