Tony Parker is gonna play with France

Sorry Spurs' fan, but Parker has just joined his national team. He was supposed not to play with France this summer, but he changed his mind.

Good for him I guess.

After watching Manu go down to injury, I can't imagine Poppovich being all too pleased.

With Ginobili injured again, and Parker ready to play for France, Poppovich will not be getting a good night's sleep until an uninjured Parker is back on U.S. soil.

He should be wearing some kind of heart monitor device that will automatically alert EMS if his heart has trouble.

France actually have tons of players who are in the NBA, or drafted by NBA teams. *IF* all of them actually played for France, their team could look like:

PG - Tony Parker/random Euro
SG - Mickael Pietrus/Yakhouba Diawara
SF - Boris Diaw/Mickael Gelabale/Nicolas Batum
PF - Joakim Noah/Ian Mahinmi
C - Ronny Turiaf/Johan Petro/Alexis Ajinca

9 current NBA players, 2 drafted players (Batum and Ajinca), and 1 random Euro (whoever plays backup PG). It'd be a really young/up-and-coming team too (nobody on that roster is older than 26). Then again, it's highly unlikely that all of these guys get off their lazy a$$es and actually play for France.

haha yeah that's him. i was surprised when i heard him in an interview; him and pietrus sound EXACTLY the same. their voices are completely identical.
