Kobe Feels Young

Post#1 » by DelaneyRudd » Fri Aug 22, 2008 5:31 pm

Do you think the wiretap might have missed the point of the story?

http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... than_ever/

It talks about how Kobe feels young and stuff but doesn't mention that tomorrow he turns 30. Kobe still has a decade of Basketball left.

Two decades. He's one of those guys that I could see going to play in Europe after he's done with the NBA. Either that or he'll coach or instruct. If you get to watch some footage of the instructional portions of some of his camps you'll be in for a treat. He LOVES teaching.

I personally think that Kobe can play at a high level in the NBA until he's at least 54. He's just so skilled...

Hater.

It's more like 75 or 80.

He turns 30?? Damn he still seems like one of the up and coming young guys in the NBA. He will definitely be playing into his 40's for sure.

wiretap:

"Kobe: 'I Feel Younger Than Ever'"

really? is anyone even in charge of monitoring the misquote after misquote that the wiretap produces?

He reminds me of when he was younger, especially in that series against the Jazz when he decided to jack three's to his hearts content and it single handedly blow the series for the Lakers.

That looks like the Kobe of today.

Hopefully he means young physically, not mentality-wise.

I am 100% fine with Kobe jacking up 3's in the Olympics. Its less chance of him going to the rack and landing wrong on someones ankle. All I want is for Gasol and Kobe to come back home healthy.

Two decades
. He's one of those guys that I could see going to play in Europe after he's done with the NBA. Either that or he'll coach or instruct. If you get to watch some footage of the instructional portions of some of his camps you'll be in for a treat. He LOVES teaching.

Am I the only one who caught this? Two decades? Til he is 50?

Wow. The Kobe homerism never ceases to amaze me.

Calm down. I didn't say he'd be playing in the NBA that long... just that he'd still be involved with the game in some fashion.

Well you know the saying

"You're only as old as the woman you feel"

And considering that the olympics is one of the biggest sexfests in the world... I bet he feels young
