Lopez.

I think Porter will go with a DJ/Barbosa backup point platoon, with Diaw/Hill handling it too. Dragic will most likely get mop-up duty until he's capable enough to get 10mins.

Lopez really has no competition for backup C. Amundson will be the mini-scrapper and used mainly at PF I'd imagine

I agree.. lopez,

butTastic. the whole point of getting dragic here was so he could play 15 mins a game straight away. theres no way we play barbosa at point unless its last resort. GJ will be a third stringer

I think Lopez because playing the C position is much easier than being a PG.

If D'Antoni was still running things Barbs would still be our backup point and Dragic would play 5mpg max. From what i hear about Porter developing rookies, I'm hoping we give Dragic 5-10 mpg early in the season so by all-star break he could play upwards of 15mpg. If he can do that he should be solid for about 10mpg in the playoffs for us.

Lopez would have the biggest impact I'm sure because he's going to be backing someone who needs rest, therefore he's guaranteed PT. Nash needs rest too, but if required he will play 35mpg+, Shaq on the other hand can't play those minutes even if you ask him to. Dragic will have minutes too, but how effective he'll be is anyone's guess. Lopez's role is less significant compared to Dragic backing Nash, so in terms of immediate impact, Lopez would take it, with Dragic coming along with his role later in the season.

Lopez! If the suns keep DJ, I think it will be a good battle between DJ and Dragic. As I have said many times before, Im not high on Dragic as our future.

It will do good for both Dragic and Strawberry to have some competition and to work hard to get as many minutes as posiblle.

Lopez, definitely. One thing that would make me very happy will be to see Lopez get all-rookie honors. I'm expecting Lopez to be a Varejao-type of player. Not because they have the same hair but because Varejao is energy off the bench.

Initally Lopez, but by season end I think Dragic will have the biggest impact, helping alleviate minutes for Nash and hopefully will be well involved in the second unit in getting them working together.

At this stage I''m just glad that Dragic has come over from Europe now to add that extra season of experience with Nash as his mentor.

i think the best thing (this sound ridiculous) is even if he's a failure which would suck. we wont be saying "what if" if we couldnt have got him here this season

Lopez should have more impact because of our need with interior D.

I want to say Dragic, just to justify all we spent to get him, but I'm not sure he will contribute the most. I think he has a good shot at contributing, but Lopez will get more minutes due to Shaq slowly playing less, and this well help him get better numbers and a more valuable spot in the rotation.
