Who is your team's biggest rivals at the moment? (List Them)

Who is your team's biggest rivals at the moment? (Create a list and explain)

Name Your Team and then mention the Teams who are your biggest rivals at the moment? Name at least 3 teams if applicable.

My Team: Chicago Bulls

Rivals: Miami, Washington, Detroit, Milwaukee, New York and Portland

Miami Heat - Played them in the playoffs in 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 winning one series and losing one series. We basically took the #1 pick in this year's draft messing up their plans for the future and creating another rivalry between us.

Washington Wizards - Played them in 2005 in the playoffs and lost with HC Advantage. However, this was due to Deng nor Curry not playing.
Never was able to redeem ourselves in playing them in the postseason again. A team that is similar to ours in it's structure and who we would love to play again in the postseason to get our revenge.

Detroit Pistons - A team that has been to the conference finals 6 years in a row and a team who we seem to be trying to model our team like in the sense they have no superstar, but yet are elite even without paying the luxury tax. We are trying to have the success they have had for the past 6 seasons.

Milwaukee Bucks - Another team similar to us on paper. Former coach in Skiles now coaches them and the rivalry between our guards and theirs continues to heat up. Would be interesting if we ever played them in a series and a damn good matchup.

New York Knicks - What more can you say? We were able to take a few of their picks over the years with the Eddy Curry saga, and we are two teams that seem to mock one another on the court as well. Two teams that seem like we have no sympathy for one another (maybe the past has something to do with it)

Portland TrailBlazers - A team that has now taken our spotlight for the future. A team that is now predicted to be the team of the future.
We traded our #2 pick in Lamarcus Aldridge for their #4 pick in Tyrus Thomas, which at the moment seems to be a mistake.
They drafted Roy in the process and got a great PF in Aldridge. They got the #1 pick in the 2007 draft, which many Bulls fans would have liked to have instead of the #1 pick in 2008.
Also the history of the 1984 draft of them making the worst mistake ever by selecting Sam Bowie going #2 over MJ who went #3 still creates an intense feeling between both teams.

Utah Jazz:

Well considering the Lakers are probably the main team keeping them from a ring I will put them at #1.

The Spurs are #2, I've always felt as soon as the Jazz overcome the hill of winning a game in San Antonio the mental relief will be groundbreaking for the Jazz.

#3. I guess I'll go for the Hornets, even though the Jazz have dominated the series over the past 3 years.

#4. Rockets

#5. Denver

Favorite Team: Minnesota Timberwolves

Biggest Rivals: Minnesota Wild

Let's be honest, we're not ready to consider anyone a current rival. The Wild sell more tickets EVERY night than the Wolves. :-)

But if I have to pick an NBA franchise, probably the Blazers and Nuggets.

My team is the Cleveland Cavaliers. Our primary rival is the Detroit Pistons. They are only a few hours away, they are always competitive and it's like we are their little brothers.

Toronto Raptors.

We don't really have big rivals. Just division ones + the team that's beaten us in the playoffs (Orlando).

I don't even know if Orlando considers us rivals lol, but in Realgm for sure.

Phoenix:

The Lakers rivalry goes back to the Barkley days

and Dallas(not too much anymore) ever since we got Nash.

The Raptors

Oue biggest rivals are our past two playoff opponents, the Magic and the Nets. Next on the list wou;d be New York maybe.

The Nets are number 1 for sure. They practically stole Vince Carter from us in the worst trade ever. We got 0 value from that one, and it seems like he always comes up big against us. To add to that, they knocked us out of the playoffs when we had home-court

The Magic and us have bad blood because of the last series that we had where we got dominated. The reason we got JO instead of top swing is that we had no answer inside for Superman and other dominating precenses in the post.

My Team: Blazers

Rivals:
#1 Lakers - God I can't stand that team. I can't stand Kobe. I can't stand Lamar Odom. Our team has more fight while playing them then any other team in the NBA. The Lakers actually hold the ALL TIME worst winning percentage against the Blazers on our home court.

#2 Utah - They are our bigest rival right now in terms of competition being the best team in our division.

As of now I really dont consider any other teams "rivals"

Guess it depends whether "rivals" refers to "the biggest threats" or to "the team we always battle and hate".

As a Jazz fan, the Spurs and Lakers are clearly the biggest threats to us, but it's not much of a rivalry until we beat them or at least face them consistently.

In the latter category, I'd say it's the Rockets, whom we've met in the first round two years running. A bit of a lopsided rivalry until they beat us, but the showdowns are always hard-fought and intense.

Nets fan here.

Raptors- They still hate us for taking Vince for peanuts, despite the fact that they're a good team I hate them because of their butt ugly players (Seriously now Bosh litterally looks like a flipin Dino) and for just forgeting that the franchise treated Vince like **** before he got traded, there's a reason Vince isnt complaining even though he's on a bad team right now and going through rebuilding now.

= exactly why the Lakers have the 2nd worst record in Portland.

I do not agree with anyone in Portland that says the Lakers are our rivals. I hate them, for sure, but our rivals have always been Seattle and Utah. Seattle because of the close proximity and past battles for NW supremacy, and Utah because of the same, and now due to them being the best in the NW division.

Now, I could foresee the Lakers and Blazers having some battles in future years for Western Conference supremacy. But, nothing is guaranteed but death and taxes, so I will wait on making any such claims.

If you guys can resign everyone then I'm sure the future holds some heated matches between LA and Portland. I'm a senior at Arizona so I got to see Bayless play up close and I'm a big fan. He's an **** that talks in the 3rd person, but he's an awesome player and I want him to do well.

I love this lineup

Bayless
Roy
Outlaw (I like outlaw over webster)
Aldridge
Oden

Bucks

1. I guess the Bulls due to proximity. Other than that, no one else really. When the Hornets were in Charlotte, the Bucks and Hornets had a good rivalry. They'd always seem to clash in the postseason every year.
