Baron Davis just sighed a little relief while Maggette is throwing up a bit in his mouth and Rony Turiaf is still really happy he got so much money...

Sucks for the Warriors but 4 months from now is only about 2 months into the NBA season and if that's the worst case scenario, they may have some hope.

I have to admit this is good for the Clippers and all those other teams fighting for those last few playoff spots.

Wish him a fast recovery and that it will never have more injuries.

Feel really sorry for GS fans , these injuries suck so bad , at least there is 2 months until the start of the season so he won't miss all the season.

Well he's suppose to replace BDiddy. Might as well get the injury out of the way early.

Magic Johnson? I heard he's like a Dirk Nowitzki with defense and athleticism.

But anyway, I feel sorry for Monta Ellis. Even though I thought he got too much money, I like his game and his character. Hope he recovers quickly from this and comes back an even better player.

High ankle sprains can be nagging, but unless its the mother of all sprains this shouldn't cost him the season.

Ellis was scheduled to undergo surgery on his left ankle in Alabama on Wednesday, according to team sources, after he informed the club late last week that he had injured himself working out. More specifics about how Ellis sustained the injury were not immediately available.

Surgery is needed to repair a torn deltoid ligament, sources said, and the foot will need to be immobilized for the first six weeks.

Whoa, a simple ankle sprain is not exactly something that warrants surgery. Not being able to walk for 1 1/2 months...the Warriors are sweating it now. I think 4 months is now the minimum if he can't even walk for around for six weeks.
