Can someone give me the exact details of rashard lewis' contract, because I just wanted to know all the pay increases and now how much crack the front office was really smoking wen they gave him this ridiculous deal. LOL. No seriously what is the deal really

I think he gets like $100 million per year for the next 5-6 seasons. So probably about half a billion?

The Magic look to compete for the Eastern title over then next five years. Lewis is a key, and his salary is consistent with retaining other key players.

Dwight is worth $hards contract and $hard is worth about what Dwight is getting, so as long as those two are here in Orlando together, then I just look @ it as a non issue. We needed to do something to show Dwight we are committed to winning in the long run, so we overpaid for $hard, but we also locked up Dwight for an additional 5 years. If $hard and Dwight swapped contracts, this would be a non-issue right now, so I look @ it the same way.

Sure, im not happy we overpaid 4 him but there are legit reasons why we did. (1) He was the only big name guy that year, so he had all the leverage...... (2) Dwight and Meer were both coming up on contract years and we needed to show Dwight a commitment to building a contending team & winning.......

Yeah, this stuff bout Shard's contract got old a long time ago . We know we overpaid , but it's done, so just move on.
