Had a funny hitch in his shooting motion. Never quite looked comfortable playing against A-level competition. Was not much loved by BBall people I hung with circa 1990 (in Portland). Always felt he held the Blazers back somewhat.

Still, I know nothing about him personally. And 44 is much, much too young.

My sympathy for his family and friends.

So unfortunate, so sad. Rest in Peace Duck!! You are loved buddy, Portland and all of Oregon can never repay you for all that you did for us. He definately is in a better place now....

RIP

I never knew him and I barely watched him play, but still so sad. I actually had him on a sim league team - he was my backup for Alonzo, of all things.

Seriously, this is too sad based on what I've heard.

They are showing game 1 of the 1992 Finals right now on NBA TV. Duckworth just scored the first 3 points.
