Saaaweet. I wasnt gonna join an ESPN league (more cus of unfamiliarity)...I'm glad yall are doing yahoo. I do multiple leagues every year with Football and B-Ball. I figured I'd keep the Soup's Uncle name. Holla.

Oh yeah, we're autodrafting, right?

Never done IDPs before. Should be educational.

Live drafts are so much better than autodrafts imo.

This is my 7th league this year: 4 on Yahoo, 2 on ESPN (for some reason the people in my office prefer theirs), and 1 on CBS Sportsline. I've never done CBS so I just joined a public league to see what it's like. They have free live scoring but it doesn't look like you can customize the options as much as you can on Yahoo.

I never dir CBS, but a friend of mine did. He said it was cool, but he liked Yahoo best.

I'm in...

Am I reading the settings correctly - a point for completion and .5 (positive points) for QBs?

Also Lyrical, I was 13th team to join...consider just a 14-team league. With the way rosters are set up, a 16 team league would require a bunch of scrubs to fill out the rosters. With bye weeks and injuries, I think anything over 12 teams is too much for football. Just my opinion.

Hope all is well everyone.

i had had two martinis at this point so i asked her if he every shouted DAGGER in the bedroom with her.

she looked at me kinda strangely and said she had no idea what DAGGER meant.

Good catch, JRo. It's supposed to -.5 for incomplete passes.

As for the # of teams, I'm fine with it. The more the merrier, I say. It makes knowing/working the scoring system, scouting players/matchups, and making smart trades all more important. As long as everybody keeps up with their teams it shouldn't be a problem.

FYI - The draft has been moved to Tuesday at 7:45pm.to accommodate those who will be out of town this weekend. If you can't make it, pre-rank.

Thanks for changing the time. With the IDPs, unconventional scoring, and uncertainty about the number of teams in the league, pre-ranking will be challenging. Would rather just sit there with some cheatsheets and go seat of the pants.

i have joined as well...good luck everyone.

as a suggestion - instead of having 2wr's, 2rb's and a te, consider QB, WR, WR, RB, W/T, W/R setup. with 14 teams folks will struggle to find two good starting backs. not to mention the dropoff from top 5 tight ends.

It's on like Donkey Kong!

The games start tonight so please check your rosters. For those who auto-drafted, check your individual defensive players because the CPU is notoriously bad at picking IDP's.
