cavs in: hakim warrick, greg buckner, david lee
cavs out: d.west, lance allred
memphis in: zach randolph
memphis out: h.warrick, gregg buckner, darko millicic
nyk in: d.west, lance allred
nyk out: zach randolph, david lee
why for cavs? cavs will get 2 power forward to fill the hole but will take on a bad contract of gregg buckner in which will expire on 2010
why for memphis? they will get an allstar post player presence and will be able to let buckner go.
why for ny? they will be able to dump one of their bad contract players who does not fit well on their run n gun style of play. they will get the pg they want to run the offense and can have caps space on 2010 with millicic contract.
3 way trade
** change varejao with delonte west
i have another version here:
cavs in: h.warrick, g.buckner, d.lee, e.curry
cavs out: d.west, l. allred, e. snow, a.varejao
memphis in: zach randolph
memphis out: h.warrick, gregg buckner, darko millicic
nyk in: d.west,l.allred, varejao, e.snow
nyk out: zach randolph, david lee
why for cavs? we will be able to fill pf holes and back up center and also bring some youth
why for ny? they will have the pg and energy player they want and save money
why for memphis? they will get an allstar post player presence and will be able to let buckner go.
link?

...and Darko just dissolves into thin air.
Eddy Curry gets so big that NY doesn't have give him up in order for us to get him.
Memphis is getting screwed on these trades royally...we just get a bunch of quality players for nothing. Contracts don't work either.
Bad first post.

I would do the 1st proposal if you modified it with some filler to make the contracts match up.
Delonte+scrub filler for Warrick & David Lee would be a good trade for us.
Mo/Boobie
Wally/Pavs/Kinsey
Lebron/Warrick
Lee/AV
Z/Big Ben
or something along those lines would be solid, could deal Wally's expiring for an upgrade at SG before the deadline.
Memphis gets screwed but they are rumored to want Zach Randolph and got screwed with the Gasol trade so who knows what they're trying to do

BB, if that trade were to happen, Lee would not start ahead of Big Ben.

Yeah your prob right. It will be interesting to see how the mins are split up in the frontcourt.
Alot will depend on how Hickson performs. If he can handle 10-15 mins a night, we would be solid even without a trade.

-how can you say that the memphis was screwed on this trade? if you want to dump bad contract player from your team, you need to give up some talent go along with it! In this trade proposal, memphis will be able to get zach randolph (the player they want) and also be able to let go of their 2 bad contract players in gregg buckner and millicic! You can't have the talent you want if your not willing to trade some. It takes 2 to tango and that's how the trade works.

Why would Memphis say yes to this? Who says they want Randolph? Not attacking you but just wondering.

Re: cavs, ny, memphis 3 way trade
I think NY adds a 2nd or cash to Memphis and Cleveland adds Chi 2nd and cash but Cle also gets Lowry.
I think Memphis gets the low post scorer they need and is supposedly rumored in wanting but also possible 2 early 2nds. They rid themselves of two large contracts in Bruckner and Milicic and their glut at PG. The lineup is rediculous: Gasol-Randolf-Gay-Mayo-Conley
Knicks get two bigs that play better defense them either starting big they had. They get a Combo guard that will be a decent backup behind Duhon and Crawford,if he doesnt take the starting spot. They lose a 2nd pick possibly but they easily get it back now that Nate Robinson is possibly expendable with the three above and Wilson Chandler in the backcourt.
Cleveland gets a backup PG who could possibly be a steal since they have Mo and have Boobie, who isnt a ballhandler. Lee and Warrick will fit perfectly and Bruckner even though not a good contract gives them depth at a weak postion(SG) but also makes Wally easier to move and he expires 2010.
I think that is pretty good and covers needs and wants for all teams.

That was not a bad first post. He/she laid out their trade scenarios which might or might not be realistic, but the trade proposal makes some sense for all parties involved. The thoughts behind it were laid out well also.
much respect to the 2011-2012 champions, Miami Heat, well deserved

Re: cavs, ny, memphis 3 way trade
Hello Cav's fans. I am sorry to say, but I don't think Memphis is getting rid of Lowry or Warrick. We want to get rid of bad contracts meaning Jaric and Walker. Buckner supposedly has a $1M buyout and walker have a team option that doesn't have to be picked up. So truthfully, Walker isn't that bad of a contract. Warrick is a cheap reserve and I don't see giving him up for nothing. To be truthful with you guys, I think we just deal with NY only. We give them Darko and Walker for ZBo. We remain under the cap and NY pays less luxury tax. Although Darko's contract is not a bad one, we give him up because we have two centers in Marc Gasol and Hamed. Also, it's rumored that Portland wants one of our point guards for Travis Outlaw. Sorry guys, I just don't see us dealing unless it's for Verjao.
